Kristina up front was the nicest person ever, her and another gentleman checked us in perfectly. I like the reservation style for cosmic bowling. The front desk people handled the crowd well.
The food was $30, overpriced for some nachos and a sandwich. It was freezing cold too. We repeatedly told them the correct lane number but they called the wrong one 3 times. Thankfully the lane next to us was empty so we knew it was our food. The nachos were poorly made, just a pile of meat in the center and the toppings were not even. Cheese was clumpy. Freezing cold. They forgot all the sauces we asked for with our chicken sandwich. Mozzarella sticks and onion rings were cold too. Is it really that difficult? We got there early too, I can't imagine the people after.
Marissa the bartender (blonde & glasses) and the older lady with the grey hair behind the bar are hands down the most miserable people to EVER walk this Earth. Sure the lanes are shoddier at AMF but at least I can get service at the bar there! Especially service with a smile. Marissa skipped over multiple people waiting and seemed like it was a chore for her to pour drinks. I still tipped her because I'm not tacky but she definitely didn't deserve it.
She really put a downer on our birthday celebrations. She needs a huge lesson in customer service. People were getting frustrated because you constantly skipped over them and then you were rude about it. They need to hire more people here for the weekends because the wait for drinks was ridiculous. There should be someone at concessions AND at the bar, at least two people each. Family business or not, hire more people so your bartender isn't overwhelmed and being a jerk to people. You had to order drinks and food from the same person, the wait was pushing 20+ minutes.
I am not likely to come back here since I paid over $80 for people to bowl and I got treated like a stain in the carpet. Please work on training your staff. It was busy but the customers were being very forgiving towards an insanely disrespectful and SLOW bartender.
Also, get the music choices together. You have some annoying dude DJing and it's a crowd full of people in their 20s-early 30s. You're playing 70s music? Then hip-hop? Then five country songs in a row? Way to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreProbably the worst bowling experience I've ever had. To start, the limited supply of bowling balls is inexcusable. The people next to us had small children that kept taking the few balls we mustered up. When they got pizza and wings it made us hungry, but there was no pizza left. So we had to get "loaded" fries. So we got a paper plate with undercooked potato sticks with melted cheese. Zero salt, and no ketchup on hand whatsoever. Pretty lame but expectations are low at a bowling alley right? The main issue is that one of the employees allowed her 3 year old son to run around unsupervised. This kid took over our 2nd game halfway through. We nurtured him and displayed great patience while our game was completely ruined. It's certainly not my job to babysit or reprimand unsupervised children in anyway. However, the cashier seemed to believed that it was my party's responsibility to control the behavior of other humans at their facility. She claimed that she would comp ou4 2nd game, but decided to lie about her co-worker bringing her son to work, which is absolute nonsense. Not only did the women declare herself to be an employee, but she was bringing trays of food to our neighbors during our time there. I even gave her $5 after she apologized about him messing up our game. I also grabbed the tray of dishes and trash from our neighbors and brought it to the front as we were the last ones out. Somehow 5 people playing 1 and 1/2 games cost $65. Unbelievable! 2 members of our party left when the little kids took over. The bathrooms need updating as well, but really I gotta say that I'd rather bowl anywhere else at this point. If the owners want to right this wrong and convince me that it was a fluke, but...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery rude! Donāt go especially if itās busy! I havenāt been to flamingo in a few years and when I used to come I loved it, me and my friend went the other day to celebrate another friendās birthday and the staff was beyond rude. First me and my friends where trying to order food for our lane and a older caucasian lady with blonde hair and glasses was taking orders. she was busy and the only one doing orders at the time so I get it but when it came time for me and my friends to order food she turned around and cut my friend off when she was talking to her and then went on to do another gentlemanās order on the side of us when weāve been waiting just like other customers behind us. Her attitude was rude and snappy when we nicely mentioned that weāve been waiting. Definitely not someone that should be in customer service. To top it off it off one of the workers tried to accuse our group of sneaking alcohol in the alley. We are all of age and know the rules of a bowling alley so we couldāve easily went and got drinks from the bar they provided. We had no reason to bring any alcohol! The man lied and said he seen someone on camera and he would call the police. I hate pulling the race card but I truly think we were racial profiled. We were four young colored people and they literally bothered...
