Guy at the entry didn't bother to look up when we walked in the door and seemed put out when we asked where to find the dining room and bedroom furniture. His response was curt and sarcastic. However, he fell all over himself to greet the cute young girl who was entering the store as we were leaving and he even looked up, got up off his large posterior and became amazingly animated! I'd fire 🔥 his rude incompetent behavioral problem for differentially dealing with customers. There is a very good chance that we had thousands of $$$s more to spend that we didn't because of his dismissiveness than his next customer over whom he drooled. This shop was one of several shops that I visited during an antiques and collectibles shopping trip to Syracuse on 3/17/18. Off-street parking is limited. I was greeted and welcomed with fresh coffee when I entered the shop, and was told to ask if I needed any assistance. The shop consists of two rooms; with some furniture pieces, antiques, and collectibles in the smaller front room, and mostly furniture pieces in the larger back room. There was a good general mix of furniture pieces in the back room, ranging from antique to later 20th Century. Nearly all of the pieces I saw were in good general condition and being sold as is/as found, although a few pieces looked to be refinished. Great first experience! I stopped to get a bookshelf and unfortunately didn't have exactly what I was looking for. They did have a large selection of different furniture, at a variety of price levels. Staff was friendly and everything was clean and well laid out. To my surprise was the collection of different trading cards. It's a must stop for anyone who collects cards of any kind! Had a ton of selection for all sorts of teams, well organized in boxes that were clearly labeled. Also had Pokémon and others. Will definitely be coming back for anything trading...
