Stevenson’s Toys is a shining example of why we all should support small businesses. They saved my son’s fifth birthday by going above and beyond to help me out after I had unbelievably bad luck finding the Playmobil house that he wanted and is near impossible to find. The first one I ordered from another seller was stolen from my front porch, and the second from a different seller was inexplicably canceled by the seller en route to my house. Enter Stevenson’s Toys, which is literally on the other side of the country. They had a single one in stock and after I explained my plight to Rosie, she not only provided a photo of the toy but her number to reach out with any questions. The owner himself called me a short while later to confirming shipping costs with UPS. When I didn’t receive a tracking number I reached out and they got it to me right away. And after two failed attempts, it arrived on my doorstep a day early! Both Rosie and Roy were incredibly kind and helpful and wonderful examples of what customer service should be. Although we are in Colorado, you better believe that I will continue shopping here not only for my son, but for my nephew who is local to the area. If you have the opportunity to shop here, do it. Great to see a toy store, let alone an independently owned one! South Hampton is such a nice town to visit, and this is always one of my first stops! The fact that it's two stories makes it so intriguing, not to mention the unique selection! Plenty of beautiful coloring books, hard to find dolls and figurines, and stunning puzzles! There are also toy instruments and clocks I've never seen anywhere else, it's refreshing seeing toys for any kid that isn't just another silly videogame. I go here every time me and my family visit the Hamptons. There are so many little gems that you can find here. No other store can replicate the child-like joy like this absolute palace of nostalgia. My only real problem is that everything here is more expensive than if you bought it...
