My daughter was hospitalized nearly a month for seizures. Her neurologist called the Walgreens pharmacy a day in advance an requested we stay and extra day just to make sure the pharmacy had her meds. The doctor, various nurses and a nurses aid confirmed the prescriptions would be ready the following day. The following day came, my daughter was discharged. We got to the Walgreens pharmacy and her prescriptions weren't ready! My daughter had a seizure in Walgreens. We had to rush her to the nearest hospital by ambulance, she was hospitalized for and additional three days because she couldn't get her prescription medication and we couldn't be released until her prescriptions were filled. We had to stay until we could find another pharmacy that had her medication in stock. Walgreens dropped the ball by failing to thoroughly communicate with the doctors and me. If this Walgreens pharmacy wasn't able to compound a specific medication then that should of been communicated with us before they accepted the prescription. I am very disappointed with the entire staff working in this Walgreens pharmacy and I will never get another major prescription filled...

Finally I get to the Counter & ask for my Prescription . They hand it to me, and after I paid I said "How come no one is answering the Phone? The Gentleman Looked at me and I told him "I've been on Hold for 26 Minutes and None of you even Bothered to answer the Phone. He stared at my phone and replied "Mam we are very busy" I said Sir it's Called "POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE" If you can't answer a phone in between dealing with 3 Customers (2 others and myself) in 26 Minutes then you don't deserve to have this Job!! BE PREPARED FOR LONG WAIT TIMES ON THE PHONE AND LONG WAIT TIMES ON LINE!!!! I'd Give a NEGATIVE 5* IF THE APP ALLOWED

Read moreWaited on hold for 2 hours just to be able to ask a pharmacist whether what I needed was in stock (it wasn't.) That was on my 4th try because the first few times I wasn't able to wait that long, I had to give up after about a half hour. When I was informed that they did not have the medication I needed, I asked whether it could be ordered. The answer I got was "no, we can't order medications, we just get what they send us." Who's "they"? What is this, a clearance outlet? Woot? We get what they send us? I waited 2 hours for that.
Did not have this problem at other Walgreens locations. Sure, sometimes you get a longer than usual wait time, but this was ridiculous. And usually once you get someone, they're helpful. This experience...
