Upside is by far the greatest kosher restaurant in upstate it’s not even a question, we’re talking fantastic fresh food at fair prices. The best option to go for is undoubtedly the pulled beef sandwich that gets perfectly made by the experienced exceptional kitchen staff.With regards to the servers I’ve never met better, they were always ready and attentive to help with anything a customer may need it was really great to see. However, you can’t mention the good things about upside without mentioning the owner Yanky Mayer. A man who knows what he’s doing with regards to the business but more then that a lovely individual who always greets customers with a smile and gives off amazing energy. Furthermore, the way he treats his employees is nothing short of admirable, Yanky has to deal with all the stresses of running the business but never lets the hard work translate to anything but a smile and a warm greeting whenever you see him. Upside Burger in Monticello, NY, is a GAME CHANGER! As a summer regular in the area, I've struggled to find family-friendly spots that deliver on taste and quality. Most places have left me disappointed (think 2/10 experience), but Upside Burger blew me away!

First time visit and I'm hooked! The food was AMAZING not greasy, just perfectly cooked and ridiculously tasty. The service was top-notch, and the place was spotless. I'm thrilled to have finally found a spot that gets it right.

Most disappointing experience I’ve had in a long time. I got the chicken sandwich and in the first few bites I got two hard, inedible pieces. I brought it back and was told that it’s dark meat and that it’s just sometimes part of the chicken. They offered to make me a new one but that it might still have those hard pieces. I ended up ordering something else instead, that was cheaper than the sandwich and was not offered a refund for the difference. My brother had the steak sandwich and was also disappointed.
