I came here at the very strong recommendation of Lamb's Hill Bridal Boutique in Beacon, NY. They said they pretty much send all their brides here. When I entered, I knew I had made the right decision because of how attentive to every little detail Sophia was. She asked me to remove shoes at the door, and carefully lint rolled the garment bag holding my wedding dress. Some of my dogs' hairs had gotten on it. I hadn't really noticed but no detail was overlooked.

Some other things I loved was that Sophia was transparent about pricing from the beginning. My dress had a lot of beading and layers, and required a french bustle to distribute the weight, so she let me know up front of the extra labour and costs involved. She was very knowledgeable and suggested hemming my dress a bit off the ground due to beads being extra slippery, considering my wedding will be outdoors and require a lot of walking.

It was just such a lovely process. Planning a wedding was so stressful, it was such a relief I never had to worry about my dress because I was able to totally trust Sophia, her expertise and attention to detail. I felt so beautiful and lovely every single visit. :) Can't wait to come back and add update with photos from the actual wedding!

OMG where do I even begin?! I did not get my dress at Lambs Hill (most of Sophia's customers are Lambs Hill brides). My friend had her dress done here and suggested I come here too. Thank God I did! When my dress arrived, I had lost about 25 pounds and my dress was HUGE on me. Sophia was so transparent right up front. She told me it was be an expensive to fix the dress and that she would have to take apart every seam. She is such a professional - she told me to call my dress place and see if they'll order me a new size. Unsurprisingly, they would not. Sophia made it work! She stuck to the price she originally told me. We did a total of 4 fittings and completely resized the dress. I knew I was in good hands, but truly I was blown away during my last fitting. Sophia is the best. Hands down the best seamstress you'll find. My wedding dresses was about three sizes too big, and Sophia made it fit me like a glove! My dress has that "Illusion" mesh look, and Sophia made it look like it was painted on me. She listened to what I wanted and the "snatched" look I was going for on the bottom area, and she sure delivered! Sophia is so talented and really cares about what her brides needs and wants are for their big day. It's an honor to have my dress done by her, in her beautiful boutique filled with her own designs.
