BEWARE NOT RECOMMENDED FOR MINORS: my daughter was 1 had been a patient 2 weeks prior for pnuemonia. The same nurse who took care of my daughter also was my triage nurse the night I showed up alone after having some drinks and being in a lot of pain. The nurse asked asked where where my babywas I said that she was with her father. The father came to the hospital which sent the nurses in a full-blown panic they had the whole nursing staff in my room like the FBI demanding to know where my daughter was and I told them it was none of their business they were there to treat me n my potentially life-threatening health condition. So I told them my daughter was staying with the neighbor which was her god Mom. The nurse called CPS and demanded me and the dad stay and wait until they arrived - he wasn't even the patient! We left out of anger how did this go from treating my pancreatitis to: we need to find their baby?
Parents BEWARE they like to call DSS here even if your child falls at the park some nurse playing God May accuse you of not supervising her and then guess what she's going to do?.. my daughters never going back there
Otherwise: for nursing staff they're incredibly compassionate they will explain everything they're doin. excellent bedside manner. if you're in pain tell the nurse you'll see them go straight to the doctor and advocate on your behalf that's gold standard in today's world
Star 2 Then you got the doctors I was diagnosed with pancreatitis my lipase and amylase were high enough to get me admitted for a full week I had just came back from St Joe's who told me they couldn't find anything wrong with me . The doctors think outside the box and check all possibilities here. Plus they stop by to ask how ur feeling.
Star 3 Radiology is fast and I never get unexpected bills
Star 4 There is no wait you're in a bed talkin to a nurse 15 minutes after arriving clean place and decent food.
5 star - it's not allowed but when I was admitted they let my fiance stay all night with me in my room for support they respected my PTSD They got him snacks and explained to him everything going in with me.
6 stars they they called 3 days later to see how I was doing and sent me with a long list of referrals in my network.
Too bad I moved away I highly recommend them they're the place to go for a non traumatic injury.
they answer the call button all hours and come in and check on you I needed another medication for sleep they called the doctor at 3 a.m. and got it for me now that is a wonderful bedside manner I can't vouch for the maternity Ward BUT I HOLD A HUGE GRUDGE...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was forgotten by the nurses and doctor. On Monday, May 12, I went to the ER at 4:30 pm, with my 3rd diverticulosis flare up and in terrible pain. Waited an hour to have vitals taken, labs, IV drip and morphine dose. No antibiotics. Nurse Kelly said not till we get results back. The CT was done at about 6 pm. I got one bag of fluids that was empty before the CT. I never saw her or another nurse till I was being discharged. I never got IV antibiotics. The results came back by 7pm which I saw on the report printout. No one told me or checked in on me. No nurse or doctor came in despite my going out into the hallway 3 times asking for help. The pain got worse. All I got was "someone will come talk to you." My husband also went out to ask for help. Still, no one came in to give me results or antibiotics. At 9:30pm a doctor and nurse came in told my white count was 14. I had to ask him. He said he was busy but ordered a second dose of morphine. He just walked out of the room. Nurse Jillian came in to take out my IV and gave me two pills that were antibiotics and second dose of morphine. I asked about IV antibiotics, and she just said no. I was being discharged. It was 9:45 pm. I did not get medication for the infection, so it got worse. 3 hours waiting for results to come that were already there by 7 pm. I was very upset knowing I was forgotten by the staff, left alone, in pain, without antibiotics. A prescription was sent to CVS but I would not be able to get them till 9 am today. I said to the nurse that I was simply forgotten. Nurse Jillian said that's what surveys are for. It's 2 am. Can't sleep because of the pain and wondering why I kept waiting for the results that were never going to be given to me. Maybe I should have collapsed on the floor at the nurse's station to get someone to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWho doesnāt love an update? The billing at this hospital is absolutely atrocious. Misinformation from employees. Was told my bill would go to collections at 6th notice, I was not paying while waiting to hear regarding charity care. Surprise! My bill went to collections at FOUR months while waiting for charity care. Called to see what was going on and was told bills go to collections after four notices not 6. I was also previously told I could make payments here and there when I had money to avoid going to collections, Iāve been paying $100 here and there when I had it and then was told I was sent to collections because it was not on a set payment plan, which the cheapest was over $300 a month. Avoid this place at all costs. My experience here was THREE DAYS! And itās been OVER A YEAR!!! Of nothing but stress and anxiety fighting with them. So unprofessional
Horrible labor & delivery experience.
There were a handful of nurses I loved at this facility
However, the majority were very condescending and did not check up on me as often as I feel they should have. One nurse tried to claim I wasnāt having contractions and she ādidnāt know what was wrong with meā because they were not showing on the monitor and that I just needed to calm down. After birth I was left for several hours at a time 5-6 without any help.
I had nurses come in for the 2nd time of the day try to come in and perform procedures that would leave me exposed while I had visitors, nurses look at me like I had 5 heads because I would ask a question about my newborn and overall just put me in a pretty sour mood. I ended up leaving a day early because I was so aggravated and frustrated...
