Their return policy unclear, they don’t tell you at the register that their products are final sale. I tried to buy a pair of shoes for an event and they didn’t have my size. So I bought a pair of shoes with a size up who ended up not fitting just slightly. I tried to go back to the store and see if they could exchange the pair of shoes for another pair of my size, I wanted to keep them because I thought they were nice. Two hours of driving I’m never going to get back. The manager was rude and non empathetic. Cole Hann does not know how to do business. They’ll take your money and don’t care for customer experience. I got stuck with a pair of shoes that I won’t be able to use because they’re too greedy and wouldn’t bother to do a fair exchange. I worked in retail for almost ten years and never heard of a store who wouldn’t refuse customer accommodation. Cole-Haan doesn’t care if their customers are happy. I’m telling others not to make business with them. If you’re a person who likes to gift stay away from this store. This one star is solely for the supervisor/manager with a white beard. Our family cannot stand his higher than thou attitude. We needed to consolidate our bags and were buying socks at the store. We asked if we could get a large bag, he was asked by this lovely sales associate is it ok. He didn't have the decency to look at us and said so everyone could hear; "For socks, no" with disdain in his voice. What a horrible experience all around. This is why Amazon is crushing the retailers. I liked a jacket in the outlet store but they didn't have it in my size. They had me order the jacket in XL and sent it to my house. The Jacket was to small and came in crumpled up. Although they were able to ship ti to me, I am not able to ship it back. I need to drive 1.5 hours each way in order to return it. The customer service people and the people at the store did not seem to be really sure of their answers. Wow!
