Fit Kid Play & Party Place — Local services in Town of Woodbury

My family and I moved to Orange County a year ago right after I broke my foot and hobbled around with a giant boot. Our son turned 1 year old soon after but we couldn’t have a special milestone birthday party for him because most of our extended family members had Covid or RSV, we were still unpacking tons of moving boxes and we didn’t know the area enough to find a venue to host our family and friends. So on a whim, we went to Fit Kid Play and Party venue in Central Valley on a Wednesday morning. It was fairly empty with only two other kids and parents inside (because it was a Wednesday morning!) so it comforted me especially since I was still big on social distancing with a small toddler. The experience was wonderful! It was clean, so fun and spacious that my husband, our toddler and myself were able to go through the entire space together- even with my annoyingly large boot protecting my broken foot! We knew we’d want to have our son’s next birthday there and so we did! 1 year later: IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT! Alicja was incredible in helping me plan this party. It couldn’t have gone any more seamlessly! I reserved the date and time on their website and had a response that night via email setting up time to discuss over the phone. She asked the estimated amount of people, theme, dietary restrictions and that was it- all set. To paraphrase her words, “moms have enough on their plate, let me take care of it from here.” WHAT A GIFT!! She even made a suggestion about party favors that I really appreciated because it helped save money, time and effort. We planned it months in advance and then a week before the party we had one final call to confirm the guest count, party theme and any questions I may have had. She was thorough, calming and made me feel confident that our boy would not only feel celebrated but would have a truly happy birthday! All the parents came up to me throughout the party to tell me they were so impressed by the facility and how clean it was! One guest even said, “these places usually feel so grimey on your hands but I am shocked this is so clean!!!” Because Alicja really really takes care of her space. She knows it’s important for parents to feel one less worry about extra unnecessary germs and dirt. Most of our guests live in Queens and Long Island but they all said they’d absolutely come back in the future just for a regular day because that’s how much fun we all had, parents included! My gluten free dietary needs were met with my own private pizza so I wasn’t left out of lunch with the party. She decorated completely and everyone was in awe. Kids parties are hit or miss and this one was definitely a huge hit thanks to Alicja and Francis! He was wonderful every time someone came in ready to play but weren’t there for the party- he graciously and kindly let them know the space was rented out. He also offered to put all presents upstairs and even in our car. So much hospitality from two incredible people! Thank you to your awesome team! My only note for the future visitors: get the rubber grip socks even if you're an adult - there were some parts I couldn't move through with my son because my socks were too slippery but that's not on the venue! This entire play area is creative and meticulously thought out with children's interests in mind. It has a multitude of apparatuses to entertain children of all ages, including myself (i.e.: multiple ball pits, one swift drop slide, one twist slide, two foam ball launchers, a Tarzan swing, a log swing, etc.) I am especially thankful that the additional levels allow the weight/presence of adults, so I am able to play alongside my children even on the second & third tiers of the jungle gym. It is located within a gorgeous building with enormous windows that allow plenty of natural sunlight. Not to mention every inch of the location is immaculate and the owners are constantly observed cleaning up and/or putting toys back in their respective areas. I have found that this facility is perfect for all days but particularly during winter or rainy days.

The owners are exceptionally welcoming, kind & professional even when offered feedback. It is evident that the owners have an affinity for children and are passionate about their business. It is notable that at times they bring their children to help/play among the other kids. Their daughter was as equally helpful and gentle, as her parents, with little ones of all ages. On two separate occasions I had to run to the car to get diapers in which the owners freely offered to watch my kids in the interim. When I returned, on both instances, Alicia & Frances were both playing with my little guys. How sweet! On days when it is hard to get my twin boys, 2 years old, out of the house all I have to do is to tell them we are going to see Alicia and they instantly become thrilled and eager to be compliant.

After visiting a variety of lackluster indoor play spaces, in the vicinity that fell short where this play space excelled, we felt impelled to sign up for the monthly membership. For the holidays we will even ask family members to gift monthly memberships. Additionally, the location does have a party room which has a gigantic window which allows the parents to view children playing in the jungle gym without having to leave the party room area. In short, they have clearly cornered the niche of keeping children entertained and safe. ...

Had a birthday party for my 3 year old daughter yesterday and absolutely loved it! The hospitality given can not be beaten! They had everything ready before we got there and helped out a bunch! The facility was super clean and even had a wonderful conversation with the owner. The kids had a blast, and our friends - the parents - were able to relax, enjoy conversing with one another, and still watch all our kids have a great time. It's refreshing to be able to take your kids somewhere and not have to worry about them wondering off. The play structure is very well-maintained and has a lot of fun compartments and obstacles to go through. It reminds me of a couple of places I went to growing up and made me wish I was a kid again.
