I visited this place to try them out. I'm very glad that I did. Having this type of food available this far from the city is a huge perk. The location was very clean and presentable. The dining area looked neat and appeared well kept. I ordered some chicharron with tostones, and it was perfect. Not salty or over seasoned. Fresh and just the right amount. I also ordered roast pork with cheese mofongo. The mofongo was soft and very flavorful. The fried cheese complemented the mofongo very well and added a softness to the mofongo that created a nice texture. We also had a chicharron mofongo that did not disappoint. They had a hot bar with some items ready for serving. They also had a nice variety of drinks both to serve and bottled. One constructive comment I would like to make is that I would like to eat my meal in other than paper plates. I feel it would bring more elegance and class to the place if non paper plates and non plastic silverware were used. This was a bit distasteful. Nonetheless, the food taste and quality were amazing, and I was greatly satisfied. I highly recommend and will be back again to try more of the menue.

Small restaurant with free street parking available on a moderate to low traffic area. Entrance is somewhat not wheelchair accessible. There’s a step in front of the entrance. The lady behind counter believe to be Ingrid herself bilingual, helpful, easily approachable person. Restaurant is focused on takeouts with a few seating options. 3-4 tables inside. Bathrooms are NOT working. Although they are in a high volume successful business that’s a “-1 star” for me. Overall inside the restaurant is clean, quiet and moderately comfortable. Food is great quality, fresh and adequately portioned vs priced compared to similar restaurants. Menu is still a to-go handout paper menu which indoor sitting menu could be provided. We had chicharonnes, beef empanadas, and alcapurias. Overall satisfaction well deserved a 5 star in its category of restaurants. I definitely recommend for a dinner or takeout, BUT one should call before arriving the restaurant to confirm whether they have enough chicharonnes; they run out!!!

I have visit Ingrid’s several times and ordered through Uber. The food is always fresh, delicious and nicely crafted into a masterpiece. I have also ordered the fritura platters and the quality and taste are consistent. As a Dominican that has migrated to Orange County, it’s been hard to find authentic Dominican food. Thank you Ingrid for bringing our culture and love of our country into your dishes. My kids also very much enjoy the food and atmosphere. Ingrid always welcomes us with a smile and open arms. Highly recommend everyone tries this little piece of heaven.

As a local resident who's been eagerly awaiting the arrival of a new restaurant in the area, I was thrilled when Ingrid's Chicharrón finally opened its doors. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment after experiencing their offerings firsthand.

Let me start with the positives: the concept is intriguing, and the ambiance is cozy. But when it comes to the most important aspect—the food—it falls short. After three years of anticipation, I expected a culinary experience that would knock my socks off, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

First off, the food quality left much to be desired. While the dishes were decent, they lacked the depth of flavor and finesse that I've come to expect from eateries in the area. And don't even get me started on the portion sizes! For the prices they're charging, I expected hearty servings that would leave me feeling satisfied, but instead, I left feeling like I needed to stop for a snack on the way home.

What's even more frustrating is the restaurant's inconsistent hours. It's almost comical how often I've walked by, only to find the place closed. With its prime location near a school, post office, and main street, it's mind-boggling why they wouldn't take advantage of the steady stream of potential customers passing by every day.

To wrap this up, while Ingrid's Chicharrón has the potential to be a neighborhood gem, it's currently falling short of expectations. If they can step up their game in terms of taste, portion size, and reliability, they might just win me over. But until then, I'll be taking my...

Ingrid Chicharrónes is an absolute treasure in the neighborhood, filling a much-needed gap with its mouthwatering Dominican flavors. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the kind of warmth and hospitality that only a top-notch small business can provide. The Latin cuisine here is beyond compare - each dish bursts with freshness, authenticity, and a home-cooked feel that’s hard to come by.

The chicharrónes, a standout on the menu, are a crunchy, savory delight, perfectly capturing the essence of Dominican culinary tradition. But it’s not just about this one dish - everything I’ve tried here sings with flavor and quality. The attention to detail in the preparation of each meal is evident, and it’s clear they use only the freshest ingredients.

What’s more, the service at Ingrid Chicharrónes is exceptional. The staff is not just serving food; they’re sharing a piece of their culture with every plate, making you feel like part of their family. It’s this combination of delectable food and heartfelt service that makes dining here an experience to remember.

Ingrid Chicharrónes is more than just a restaurant; it’s a culinary haven that brings the vibrant taste of the Dominican Republic right to our doorstep. For anyone in search of authentic Latin flavors, outstanding service, and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, this place is a must-visit. It’s a small business with a huge heart and even bigger flavors. Simply put, Ingrid Chicharrónes is a...
