La Plaza Market — Local services in Tracy

I went to your store location in Tracy yesterday. I genuinely don’t know how to really start this but this young girl who claimed she was “one of the managers” was so rude. When I walked in to the store they had a big bin of a product being priced at 1.49$. When i was being rang up in the express lane with Alejandra Leal I had noticed the product had rang up for 2.49$. I kindly asked Alejandra Leal if they were actually 2.49$ since the only reason why I had picked it up in the first place was over the price, which of course when I glanced over to where the product was the sign had been taken off. Alejandra leal completely disregarded me as if I didn’t say anything at all, as if I wasn’t the customer she’s being PAID to attend to. That’s when young woman who claimed she was a manager (who refused to give her name) walked up the the register to talk to Alejandra Leal when I took it upon my self to ask about the price discrepancy with the signs up since i had only seen it at a dollar difference. That’s when “the manager” told me “she didn’t see any sign, that if there was a sign they had taken it off” which is my problem how? If when I walked in, it was one of the couple item you guys place at the main entrance to attempt to sell/promote. To where the “manager” asked if “I wanted the product or not”. It’s beyond incredible, they honestly prefer fighting with customers instead of honoring and serving a them. Again it was only a dollar difference, but the treatment and service provided to me on this visit was just foul. I live in Stockton and once a week I was driving there to shop now it’s not worth going out of my way to drive there only to get yelled at. I hope this message gets to a real manager not like the one whom confronted me yesterday dec 21, 2023. They are supposed to be honoring prices because they made a mistake and apologize for it. They’re not losing anything at all for selling something for at a dollar difference.

Store is fresh and clean. Only thing they need to work on is customer service, which is lacking. The girls on the register are cocky and rude and low key racist not towards myself but towards people that aren't Hispanic, which I disagree on everyone is equal and I'm Hispanic y'all make are race look like trash by your actions get it together if not find yourself a different job were you don't interact with different races. I seen on two occasions how the customers were treated unfairly and differently. I don't agree one bit!!! This is a great store with delicious food that has potential, don't ruin your success with uneducated people who don't know how to treat others especially from a different race.I'm honestly hoping that my next visit at this location I see some change for every customer, and great customer service because without the customers this store is " NOTHING." Management needs to get on top of this "ASAP" of course that's if they truly care, if not then it's expected to see the same thing over and over...

Came from out of town, was looking for a snack to take back to my hotel room. Two ladies and myself waited 15min for someone to help us. The ladies ahead of me order several dozens of bread. The staff member who came to help us didn't even wash her hands. She put on some gloves, touched the register, and her face before getting the bags for the bread and proceeded to put the bread, without tongs into a bag, which by the way tore and the bread fell out. She got another bag and picked up the bread that fell out and put it in the new bag. No sanitary conditions at all. I was told no more hot water for coffee, so I went to the self serve sweet bread and got two pieces of bread, by the way, flies were in the containers with the bread, I went and bought a 12 oz container of milk, and the containers were Expired. Had to dig to the very rear to get one that was OK. Terrible store. Dirty floors, the vegetable and fruit section was disgraceful. Staff needs a refresher course on ...
