Sharing the experience of my first visit to Falafel Flame. Searching for a falafel place in Tracy, CA brought up its name on top with high ratings. So, definitely wanted to give it a try. With the relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions, the place was open for dine-in, so we decided to have the dinner over there. Menu is interesting as besides the regular falafel dishes, they also serve quesadillas and few burgers. The name ‘Badmash’ Burger for one of the menu items definitely caught attention. We ordered a falafel platter, that comes with salad, rice, falafels, hummus, tahini sauce and hot sauce. Falafels were definitely tasty. Hot sauce is really good, and gives that ‘kick’. They use basmati rice, very flavorful, liked it. We also ordered a falafel wrap. Mostly, the same ingredients as in platter except rice. That also tasted good. Serving size was good, not skimpy or overly generous. We also ordered a non-alcoholic beverage that they carry - Barbican. It was okay. Could have been better if it was bit more chilled. Even though we dined in, but since the Airconditioning was not on, so it was not too pleasant to sit in. For that reason, maybe better to order and take out, till things come back to normal. Overall a good experience, and will definitely revisit some time...
Read moreMy family came to eat here today and we were met with the kindest and most welcoming service that I have ever experienced at a resturaunt. Sam truly cares for his customers and I would go as far as to say he treated us like extended family.
With the excellent service came excellent food. When we recieved our burgers, from the outside they looked generic (not that I care), so at first I expected the taste to follow. Quite the contrary. The taste was wonderful. The meat, the tomatoes, lettuce, sauce, and other items ALL fresh. My burger was incredible! Beef bacon? Amazing, I don't even want to touch pork anymore. The burger prices were affordable and to be honest.. they should be more for the quality of ingredients..
The restaurant itself is tucked away within a complex with other larger stores. With the food quality and service, I can see this successfully becoming a much larger restaurant. It's my hope that it does simply for how genuine Sam was to us, it would be well deserved. My review may be small effort, but it is my hope that it helps Sam and Falafel Flame succeed.

Read moreGreat customer service, clean fast food style spot w/lg Indian market next door. But the food is not traditional & was disappointing. The Falafel is donut-shaped, presumably to give more frying area to cook faster; however as tasty as they were they were slightly undercooked or fried on to low a temperature, and had a sauce on them which negates the principle of Falafel being crispy. The part that didn't have any sauce on it was still not crispy, tho, and was actually almost a rubbery texture as if it had been steamed. The rice was strange although tasty but not traditional. The salad was nice crispy lettuce, traditional vinegar/oil Greek dressing. The fries were skinny McD's style not traditional Greek fries. So I would say this is a westernized version of Mediterranean food that may appeal to a wide audience but not to those who prefer traditional Mediterranean, Greek, or Indian cuisine, and they apparently had no tahini sauce. It also upset my stomach the next morning. But the staff was super nice& helpful. For me, it's 3...
