The park is pretty cleaner now a days, the homeless camp is there which is pretty alright for most of the time. All of the other dogs that are brought over are very friendly and don’t cause any problems.
I just want to warn that anyone who’s looking to bring their larger breed dogs to the dog park in order to socialize more to be cautious due to the fact that one of the dogs from the homeless camp will jump the fence, and his behavior towards my dog has been pretty aggressive. One point they ended up fighting because my dog got tired of this one’s constantly nipping at his snout, and so that’s the main reason why we won’t be coming back.

Read moreThis parkbis a hub for the homeless. While some may look down their nose at the thought, I found the people to be rich in culture and generally felt they were salt of the earth. They were not aggressively panhandling or bothering anyone. They were going about their day as a community. I was however disturbed by the unnecessary and assertive police presence. Read moreVery satisfied with this dog park. There is a nicer fountain for the dogs and provided waste bags. A few nice grass spots, most dirt however. I assume it gets better with heavier rain. There are tons of benches for you to sit. Some of them strategically placed under the trees which I appreciate. Dog owners were kind and park was moderately clean. I would return. Just a recommendation, the map takes you to the wrong side of the park.
