Arty's Resale — Local services in Trenton

He had an item posted on marketplace that I inquired about, it’s actually at a consignment shop and it was two hours after closing but he said I could come that evening. I told him I would need a friend to come with me so we could load in her suv because he said the store does not deliver which I assumed. He opens at 10am and I must have told him 3 times in our conversation that night I was a small business owner as well and would need to run in and out quickly as I would need to close my store in order to come in right away for him. I let him know that my friend had an electrician coming at 9am to do some work and as soon as was done I would message him to let him know we were on our way. At 8:45 the next morning he messaged me asking if I was still coming, I replied yes right away. I open my store, was assisting customers waiting for my friends call when he messaged me he sold the item. My customers comment on posts all the time wanting items and I hold the item for 24hrs for them to pick up. This gentleman was polite-but when I messaged at 10:30 saying we were on our way I seen his message 15mins prior saying he sold the item. Disappointed! Just want buyers to be aware of my experience in case they need to make delivery arrangements or coming from a distance so their time isn’t wasted. And owner, maybe make a hold policy known so if someone is interested in an item that’s being picked up and the person is a no show you have the name and number of the person who...

Cute store! I went there with a friend who enjoys thrifting and we were both able to get something. Seems like they only deal in silver and gold jewelry (I often get bulk junk jewelry, so that was a bit of a bummer, but that's just my preference LOL)

They had an interesting collection of items you won't find at the Trenton Salvation Army and both my friend and I were pleased with the prices. They had silver coins and bullions, shoes, clothes, furniture, art, gold and silver rings, silver necklaces, sports cards, action figures/ collectable figurines, and other items you find regularly at a thrift store.

Keep in mind, it is a fairly small store atm, though I am sure once they get more business, that will change.
