Crafted was absolutely perfect to work with for our Catskills wedding in Windham at the end of September.

From the vision stage with Amanda, we knew that she was super pleasant and easy-going to work with, adept at understanding what our personal tastes were to help flesh out our vision with us, and masterful at building a quote that fit what we were looking for - two stations for guests with two different cuisines at our wedding, plus cocktail hour with a stationary table and passed hors d'oeuvres, open bar with custom cocktails, and a dessert station with 4 handheld dessert options. Amanda and Will helped create a custom menu for us that was perfect, and had some dishes even they had never made before.

The tasting blew both of our minds and the minds of our parents'. The food was absolutely stunning and tasted unbelievable. They took notes on any minor pieces of feedback to adjust any recipes as needed, but truly they left our jaws on the floor.

As Amanda transitioned out, and Katie filled in in the months leading up to our wedding, we were skeptical and preparing for the worst (if only because of how wonderful Amanda had been), but Katie stepped in perfectly to help us with our floor plan and iron out all details in the 2 months leading up to our wedding. She also actively and swiftly reached out to and communicated with Amanda for any clarifying details. Katie was a blessing for any and all last minute adjustments and recommendations.

The day of the wedding itself was the best day of our lives, and the catering went off without a hitch. The cocktails were delicious, the service was quick and professional, the food was beautiful and to die for. We had cocktail hour plates and drinks ready for us right when we completed the ceremony, we had plates made up for us of all of the food during dinner. My one regret is I wish I had thought to and gotten to try all of the desserts, but that was my fault. The servers were all professional and when I asked if they would mind asking the one table of older, less mobile guests if they would like coffee brought to them, they immediately obliged.

A very underrated element that I want to highlight is that our venue is very picky about what vendors they work with and this was Crafted's first time working the venue. We obviously don't get to see what goes on behind the scenes to make the food, but the owners of the venue made sure to tell us that Crafted was one of the best vendors they have every worked with, they cleaned and handled the kitchen perfectly and followed every instruction the venue had and are 1000% welcome back as a preferred vendor for the venue.

Will is so precise and this is clearly his passion. The faces of his company - Amanda, and then Katie - were just a joy to work with. The servers at the events were extremely professional. Ryan and I miss you!! I'm sure you're incredibly busy now with the wedding season in full swing, and with Amanda's transition. But if there's one thing we could tell from shaking your hand the first time, it's that you're quiet but extremely precise with everything you do. So, I have no doubt that you're making it through just alright! :)

Food is very important to us, so that already made us partial to Crafted Catering. If we were to splurge anywhere, we wanted it to be on food -- we wanted to support the local ecosystem as well as the talented artist that is Will! But what we got exceeded all expectation. I had resigned myself to compromising heavily on having Vietnamese food at the wedding due to budget and time, but Will's recipes reminded me so much of the food that I grew up with. From the lemongrass grilled chicken (a favorite among all at the wedding!) to the smashed cucumber salad with holy basil, Ryan and I were blown away by our tasting. Our biggest regret for the wedding is that we couldn't sit for more than 5 minutes to enjoy the food, and that we didn't get take-home boxes so we could enjoy them in peace afterwards. :(

Food is very important to us and we are so happy we chose Crafted Catering for our wedding, it exceeded every expectation. We cannot say enough about how amazing the food and service were. Katie, the manager, came to the wedding herself to make sure everything was perfect, and she truly went above and beyond. She even stood by me with a plate of all the appetizers to be sure my husband and I tried everything. The servers were just as thoughtful, constantly checking in with me and my parents to make sure we had enough of everything.

The team created appetizers that were meaningful to us (mini lobster rolls and pulled pork sandwiches) which added such a personal and memorable element. Guests were blown away watching the food being cooked over the fire, and you could taste the freshness in every bite. We heard from so many people that it was the best wedding food they had ever had, and we’re still all talking about how delicious it was. From the fresh gnocchi, steak, and cedar plank salmon to ice cream sandwiches and late night sliders…it was all incredible.

Honestly, if this food were served at a restaurant (and we wish it was!), we’d be regulars for life. Truly an unforgettable experience. We’re so grateful to Katie and the entire Crafted...
