I dropped off a small package to be sent and was helped to package it so that it would not break in transit. Arriving home, I discovered that the delivery signature was not included as I had requested. I immediately called the store, but the phone was not answered. There was a voicemail box, but it stated that it was full. I called the store 6 times that day, and finally reached someone who remembered me that day and responded that it would be added to the package and asked for my email address, explaining that I would be emailed the receipt. I received no receipt, so I called two days later and again, the phone was not answered. I left a message asking for verification that the delivery signature was included. Two days later, I had not received a phone call or email. Therefore, I called again and no one answered the phone and again I left a message. I know the store is very busy for several reasons, but it is frustrating when no one answers the phone even though I called 9 times and received no email or return phone call. Since this package is very important, I will no longer use this store and will go to FedEx...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI go to this UPS store location several times a month. There is usually not a long line, the store is clean & well organized, the employees are very courteous & friendly, and the store is just overall efficiently run. My returns are always posted immediately, which is so helpful.
So the Troy store's terrific level of service is what I expected when I stopped into a different UPS store in a different town while running errands, where I encountered an employee who never made eye contact with me, seemed surly, and barely spoke. My package wasn't entered into the tracking database for several days either (although this could have been due to the recent holiday). After googling the problematic store in an attempt to determine where in transit my package was, I found it had a very low customer rating. This made me realize that the awesome Troy store deserved a shout-out.
I am very grateful for the competence and courtesy that is provided by the Troy Ohio UPS Store employees....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would give a zero if I could. I shipped a computer from this location. Paid for a box and the manager stated they would box the computer before shipping it out. They put the shipping sticker on the computer and shipped it without a box. When speaking to the manager she blatantly lied saying it was boxed. Upon speaking to the Piqua facility location it went to after leaving the Troy store they advised that this is how the computer was shipped. When going in person to the Troy UPS store the manager said itās not her problem and she boxed the computer herself. An employee at the store admitted the computer was not boxed. The manager is not honest in anyway. I will never use this location again. If the owner wants to contact me that is fine. I would be happy to speak to someone above the manager.
Update: Owner Yan reached out to me about the issue and resolved the issue. Very professional and polite and made the issue right and apologized....
