My fiance and I looked at so many different rings in so many different places and were feeling a bit frustrated with the whole experience. I wanted something unique, high quality, and with a great warranty. After reading all the excellent reviews for Harris Jewelers online, we decided to give them a try. And I'm so glad we did!

From the minute we walked into the store for the first time, the entire staff has been welcoming and friendly, and made us feel relaxed. We've been working with Jason closely, and he has been amazing - he feels like a friend now, we actually enjoy visiting with him when we go into the store! Harris has a really good selection of rings, and Jason asked all the right questions to get a sense of what style I like and was very respectful of our budget. We never felt pressured at all, and he made the initial selection easy and fun! I found a few rings I loved but I wanted something a little more specific, so he worked with us to create a quote for a custom engagement ring. I was shocked to learn that I could get the exact ring I wanted within our budget! In fact, we spent less than we would have elsewhere while still getting to work with highly qualified GIA-trained staff.

The process of creating a custom ring was fascinating and low stress - from the initial CAD drawings, to trying on the wax model and selecting my diamond, to the big reveal of the finished product at the proposal, it was a joy to work with Jason and Harris Jewelers to create my perfect ring! My engagement ring is GORGEOUS and unique, and I can't wait to see the wedding band I've picked out.

I love that Harris offers such a robust warranty too. We paid for the upgraded Platinum Warranty (a very reasonable price for peace of mind if you ask me) and I feel very confident that if anything should happen to my rings, from routine maintenance to any damages, Harris will do everything they can to fix it.

I usually do not write reviews but I had to talk about my recent experience at Harris Jewelers in Troy. I was shopping for a new watch and wanted to see if they had a particular watch in stock. Immediately I was impressed with the professional and elegant look of the store. I was greeted with welcoming smiles from all of the staff and was approached by Jayne Vanderhorst. They didn’t have the watch I was looking for but she immediately grabbed a catalog to see if she could order it, which she could. We showed her the price at a competitor and she was able to match it. She took the time to get to know me while she was placing the order. My wife had also found some things she liked and Jayne spent time with her as well. My wife picked out a bracelet and Jayne was very knowledgeable about the designer. Before my watch came in, we stopped by Harris to check on the status of it and Jayne welcomed us back in with a hug and smiles! She was excited to share with us what she had discovered about the story behind the special collection my wife’s bracelet was a part of so she could tell us the next time we came in! I received my watch a little over a week after it was ordered and she texted as soon as it came in. She said the extra links that usually come with the watch were back ordered so she had ordered another watch so that I can get the links quicker! She definitely went above and beyond for us! We could not be happier with Jayne and our experience at Harris Jewelers. She treated us like family and not just a customer. Harris Jeweler is by far the best in the area. I was able to order a simple wedding band for my husband over the phone, after hearing it was the best price in the area!! Our peice arrived 2 days after ordering!! So fast!

When I arrived to pick up…I was greeted at the door immediately, with a smiling face that was ready to help!

Fast forward… the ring was a little big after he tried it on. We took it over today, and again… were greeted instantly upon arrival! Jayne listened to our concerns and needs, and mentioned it would be after the first of the year to have it resized… bc they are slammed with the holiday orders! She then saw the look of disappointment when my husband said that we understood and that it was ok to go ahead and send it back for resizing… she said “you know what? Let me run back & just check!”. she took the ring to the back… and Sarah, the jeweler, resized and polished it within a matter of minutes!! We left today with exactly what we came for.. and dealing with large companies in the past… it’s never been THIS EASY!

We just simply don’t have enough kind words for this group… and we will look no further in the future for our jewelry needs!! Every business should handle customer service like Harris!!!

We are so impressed, and I can’t wait for my husband to make many more purchases for me in the future there! LOL!!

Do yourself a favor, skip the big retailers & shop SMALL at this store! You won’t be disappointed in the prices, or their ability to wow you with 5 star service!!
