I feel dishonest even giving ONE star. The Troy OH location needs to fire ALL the employees that worked (9/26/24). You NEED better trained employees on customer service and just overall care of the store in general. The people there late this afternoon (employees there around 430-5) were SO GOD AWFULLY RUDE!!!! The eye rolls...the way they spoke to not just my family but to other customers. The card reader at this location, from what we were told after it card my card FOUR TIMES for a purchase, had been malfunction for the past two days. No sign staying as such was displayed..and NO warning if you were paying by card (which most people pay by card these days) that the card reader was not working properly. So instead of rectifying the situation the employees were rude...no apologies, they took no accountability and no resolve. I WILL NEVER STEP ANOTHER FOOT OR SPEND ANOTHER DOLLAR IN THIS STORE AGAIN!!!! From what I have read in the reviews I am NOT alone!! I WILL pass this word along amongst my family & friends! Whomever owns this shop or is responsible for this shop better wake up before Troy shuts this circus down! There should be ZERO TOLERANCE for poor customer service ZEROOOO! Hell, I would have been ok with just the bare minimum customer service rather than being treated like trash! When asked for.a person "in charge" well, convenient for them, no one with that title was on staff!
On August 18, 2025, I pre-ordered six cookies: three Dubai chocolate brownies and three random minis. Upon arriving, I was informed they were out of EVERY cookie I had ordered. Naturally, I requested a refund. The teenager at the front said she'd get her manager. After a few minutes, she returned, stating, 'My manager is busy and will handle it when she gets home.' Seriously?! The manager then emerged to assist another customer, and after they were done, I stated firmly that I wasn't leaving without assurance of a full refund, especially given Crumbl's high prices. The manager retorted, 'I'm the only manager here, and I have to worry about closing my store, not your refund!' Unbelievable! I responded that her closing duties were not my concern. Living over an hour away, I wasn't about to trust a complete stranger with my money. I can't even begin to describe how incredibly rude this manager was to both my sister and me. When I asked for proof of a refund receipt, she flatly refused. I am beyond angry! Despite pointing out her rudeness, there was no change in her appalling attitude. I expect far better from this location and Crumbl in general. I've never left a Google review before, but this horrendous treatment pushed me over the edge. Read moreI Placed a preorder for 2 cookies an hour in advance. They are busy, no problem. After I arrived I waited 15 mins for my order. They are busy, no problem. When my name is called, “We are out of 1 of your cookies, do you want something else?” Problem. “No, that was the reason I ordered just cancel the order” They already marked it served to keep order stats low, so a manager has to come and fix it. They refund me, no words until they finish saying only “your refund will show within 24 hours” Out of Signature Item of the week on First Day. Placed order in advance, and waited 15 mins in store without any announcement or signage. No Employee apology, only offer to swap for a lower cost cookie as a replacement (Signature Items cost extra) Marked me served prematurely, needing a manager to fix. Manager did not apologize, or offer something to make up for my inconvenience, or say anything other than how long it should take to be refunded.
All in all, I spent 30 minutes of my time (before drive time) to NOT GET ANYTHING. I will probably go to a different Crumbl Store or Bakery in the future if I...
