Skyline Chili — Restaurant in Troy

4/16/2022 update. Thought we would try again and see if things have changed. They did, but for worse. If you grew up eating skyline, don't bother visiting this one. Go on down to Vandalia, or wait until you pass through Cincinnati.

5/29/21 update. Still hit or miss. Today it's like the chili was from someone's private stash. Very little chili, and our chili cheese sandwiches might as well have been called cheese sandwiches. They ask you how it was when you pay, but they don't seem to care what the answer is. With today's complete miss, I'm not sure we'll give them any more chances.

Not one of the better Skylines for amount of chili they use, but it seems to be improving and if you chance upon a good server, it can be a quick, reasonable dinner when you are...

I’ve never had Skyline before, and since one was close by, decided to see what all the fuss is about. Bottom line, don’t waste your money. At least not at this location. Ordered for pickup and was told to wait 15 to 20 minutes. Waited 14 and bag was already waiting behind counter for who knows how long. The 3-way chili spaghetti came plain with no cheese. The chili cheese fries came ice cold and plain, no cheese no chili. There was a small plastic bag of cold shredded cheese with the silverware-was it to be shared between the two? It got put on the fries and microwaved to make them edible.

Bottom line, won’t be back. Not worth the money when one can buy pasta, a can of chili, and a bag of cheese for around $6 and it would most likely taste better...

The entire staff is the friendliest anywhere! We immediately were greeted as we came in by several staff members! One sweet lady who greeted us wasn't even in uniform but explained she was an employee there!

Our server was Maitri, I wish she was a traveling server and could work at all the places we eat! She was very attentive, super sweet, fast and wore a smile the entire time! Great girl! We didn't catch the name of the female manager that stopped at our table but she was just as sweet!

Our food was served fast and was great! Super clean!
