Since acquiring the cemetery less than 2 years ago, the new owners, that are life long friends, have done so much to bring it back to life. When they purchased it, the property had not been maintained in years. From the numerous cleanups they have planned as well as going out there on their own, they have uncovered so many grave stones that had been long forgotten. It's also important to note that this is not their full time job. Therefore, they can only work on it on the weekends when weather permits. The property was in such disarray when they purchased it. But with their dedication, love and support of the community, it's coming back to life. The owners like to defend the current conditions at the cemetery, but there's no excuse for it. The cemetery is in horrible condition, and lacks any care whatsoever. According to the owners, they took possession of the cemetery 2 years ago and have done a tremendous amount of work. I just don't see it. They've spent a good deal of time going back and forth with me on why and how the cemetery looks the way it does. Anybody can make excuses.
