Los Panchos Parham — Restaurant in Virginia

First off, the FOOD. I got a Grande Quesadilla w/ chicken, and it was pretty big. My homie got the Steak Fajitas and of course it came with the sizzle. The burrito, however was lacking any green. No lettuce. Maybe that's how they're traditionally made, but it was a big ol whiff.

The service was fast and friendly. I ordered a drink and had it in a minute. No exaggeration. It made the experience special. She also gave us time to experience our food before she came and asked if we liked it. The atmosphere was pleasant. I could feel the authenticity through and through. The musica playing was pleasant, but didn't steal the show from the food, which is preferred! I spent 25, but I budgeted for 30 so the price was in my range. I can't say enough about our waitress, she paid just enough attention without spoiling our experience. So...

First off the menus! Probably the best menus I’ve ever seen at a restaurant. 90% of the items had pictures so you could see the food items and they were clear and nicely sized. Second the food.. we ordered the burrito river which is the smaller version of the Burrito Grande. The Burrito River was huge I can’t imagine the Grande! They didn’t get skimpy either with the meat it was packed. We also had the Pollo Fundido which was also a huge serving! Got a little scared with the chorizo cause some Mexican restaurants it’s crazy greasy and feared the hot trots but the picture on the menu made me go ahead and risk it. It didn’t disappoint I would definitely order it again! All in all 5 stars, portions were great, they actually use cheese when it says cheese and you don’t get 5 skimpy strands, menus top notch. I've been eyeing this place since they opened and went by there for a quick dinner the other day. The dining area is huge, and we were seated right away. Our server was nice, but seemed like she didn't understand what I asked for. I didn't complain, I just ate what she brought even though my order was wrong. ( I asked for a quesadilla with rice and beans on the side. she brought me refried beans.) I'm not really a fan of refried beans, but I ate them anyway so we could eat our food hot together. The quesadilla was good, but the complimentary chips and salsa were just okay. They were a bit bland, as if there were no salt on them. (Normally I tear up a basket of chips and salsa, but not this time.)

My bf loved his food, so I'm sure we will be back soon. I will have to try a 2nd time to see if my experience is...
