Come, See, Go, Tell.
What we hear affects what we know. What we know influences inwhat we believe. What we believe impacts what we do.
That’s why it is so important to listen to God’s truth.
“So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.” Romans 10:17 NLT
Throughout the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), we see Jesus inviting His followers to “come and see,” to “go and tell,” and to “listen and understand.”
Paul explains why “going and telling” matters in his letter to the Romans:
“For ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, ‘How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!’” Romans 10:13-15 NLT
So what is this “Good News”?
To truly understand it, let’s first look at the bad news: we’ve all messed up. Our sin separates us from a good and holy God, and there’s nothing we can do to bridge that gap.
Now, the good news: God loves us so much that He has already made a way for us. He put on skin, paid the ultimate price by dying a criminal’s death (even though He was innocent), and has conquered the grave by rising again. He has granted us the right to become His!
This is why “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
So right now, take a moment and thank God for the gift of His Word, and the ability to receive His Good News. Then, ask Him to strengthen your faith by showing you how to share your hope...
Read moreYou should never have an argument over an online order. I placed them online since they messed it up in person. Then they tell me that you have to check in when you get there even though you set up a time to pick up your food they're not going to do anything until you check in with them. ( so don't try to grab this on the way home it won't be ready )Mind you I've already paid for this. Another thing is this is Panda Express their employees at Diego is slower than molasses in winter. I went there at 3:00pm when it was dead and he had a line that's how slow he was. Management sitting on their chair sipping their bubble tea while somebody who didn't know how to make the food made the food everything tasted nasty my shrimp were basically mayonnaise puddles. To top it all off the manager called me a liar saying she's the only manager that worked there for the past year and a half when I talked to one they're less than 2 months ago saying how hard it was to find good help obviously he speaks the truth. Very sad experience will not return to this...
Read moreI'm highly disappointed with this panda express at 1782 N Parham Rd. And I won't advise you order food from there and have it delivered if you are very hungry otherwise your meal won't come complete and after you drive down there you will end up having an uncomfortable and unpleasant debate about something that's clearly showing on the receipt that 1 meal is missing. And as if that is not enough while still very hungry and playing defendant for something so obvious the Manager on duty was not helpful in any way and neither was she courteous. Was just a frustrating experience. As much as I love Panda, I think it's time to find an alternative or another location. What stress over food I paid for and was looking forward to...
