Since I started, I have been surrounded by very encouraging, thoughtful, experienced coaches and I can say now more like my friends. To be honest I have tried other gyms which had work for me at the time but moved on because sometimes the The atmosphere of other people can get in the way. I also never got the full connection I deeply wanted from any other gym. When I decided to join I was very upfront and honest and wanting a gym that was professional and kind to everyone. I wanted a gym that wasnât clicky or gossipy and definitely drama free. I wanted a experience that would last a long time. I wanted to really know how to do workouts the right way without feeling pressure from anyone. Not only did they meet my expectations but they have changed my outlook on working out and building muscle and feeling better also letting me know to be very patient and kind to myself. This gym is about personal growth along with physical growth. They only encourage doing the right thing for me. They donât compare anybody to eachother. The only competition is yourself there. Even during the quarantine I really didnât think there was hope for working out, not only did the coaches the owners and fellow workout buddies keep in contact with me they also never gave up on me.    Read moreWorking with Coach Cindy to meet my nutrition goals was lovely! For starters no judgement - ever! She has a way about her that gently nudged me in the right direction without ever making me feel bad; more like, âokay, moving forward we do x, y, z. Instead of a, b, c.â Slowly replacing ânot so goodâ habits into better ones is the name of the game. The level of insight into my nutrition habits while working with Coach Cindy and using Health Steps Nutrition were kind of mindblowing. That is what they are habits (ah-ha moment!) - taking back some control and changing them for the better was easier than I thought. Also, what I thought was 80/20 in reality was not. The new habits Coach Cindy taught me have literally changed me - not just in weight loss (bonus!) but in how I approach eating and drinking in general. I have gained a confidence I never had before.    Read moreI completed my 6-week challenge almost one month ago. I was not a novice to CrossFit, but it had been a handful of years since I was an active crossfitter. I was somewhat hesitant to jump back into this kind of programming, mostly thinking I am older now and did I really need to work out at this level of intensity to see results? It was the BEST decision I have made with respect to my health and wellness in sometime!! I was already on a pretty good road with my health and fitness regime, but I was looking to mix things up. Clamtown took me to new heights! The coaches are knowledgeable, supportive and encouraging - they customize workouts based on your abilities, but also know when to push you just a bit harder. The other members are equally as awesome - they welcomed me and just like that instant accountability and friends to high five for a job well done.
