Simply Said: Five Stars Spectacular!!! We went to Dockside Cafe for a late Saturday morning breakfast and it was an amazingly tasty treat for us. The food was prepared with a great deal of care and was uniquely delicious. The "Benedict Arnold" eggs Benedict and "Captain Morgan" omelet were both made with a most enjoyable personal flare, giving them their own homemade taste including amazing breakfast potatoes, flavorful sausage, perfectly cooked eggs and served with chilled fresh fruit on the side. The hot corn muffin was AMAZING! Really, it was one of the best ever I've eaten. The location is a wonderful waterfront area where we watched boats and wildlife come and go. Service was very good; fast, friendly, and attentive. We were asked several times if we need anything and also to check on our meal. Simply said: The Dockside Cafe in Tuckerton, NJ is a WINNER! The food was spectacular, the service was great, and the overall experience was most enjoyable. Five stars, A+, and...
Read moregreat little spot on the water, visited for the first time for lunch today around 130. food was ok, burgers, BLT and quiche were enjoyed. order of buffalo chicken tenders was awful, definitely not made in house, buffalo sauce non-existent. very greasy though. order of kids mac and cheese was boxed Kraft. order of a fried flounder sandwich came without a bun or toppings. employees very nice and friendly though took a long time to get to us initially. food took about 30 mins to come out and we waited for multiple items. no condiments on the table, which I can understand if no one is sitting there, they should have been brought when we put our order in, had to grab salt and pepper from another table.
the men's bathroom definitely needs to be cleaned, maybe someone can put the toilet paper in the holder instead of leaving it on top of the toilet....

My brother, son, and I spent the morning in Bass River and decided to stop in for lunch. The weather is perfect, and what better place to eat outside right on the bay. Our server was super personable and on top of things. The food was delicious. Definitely in my all time top five crock of French onion soups. The crabcake was basically pure lump crabmeat and no filler. But best of my, my son unexpectedly lost his upper front tooth -- it hadn't even been wiggly, and he was traumatized! At least three staff members checked in on him, and the bartender even gave him a special Shirley Temple! Once he calmed down, it made his day. Our server got us a little coleslaw cup for the tooth so we wouldn't lose it. What...
