Jessica and the other staff lady ( sorry I didn't catch her name), where both very polite, nice, and talked out of getting something that I didn't need, which you do not always run into hardly ever, so I automatically trust them now. I got Mani Pedi combo with gel just on my hands. They both speak very well English, and actually it would be hard to tell Jessica was Vietnamese if you only heard her talk. I only mention this as there is no communication barrier or miss-understanding frok what you say you want to what you get. Oh and they are selling washable/reusable fbric Mack's that one of their customers makes for $10 each. You can also buy a new foot scrubber to be used on your feet only so that you know you aren't getting exposed to anyone elses fungus, etc. They don't keep there for you, but it's only $5, so you can bring next time you go, which is nice and puts my mind at ease, not because of Number One Nails, just from many past experiences where the nail salon doesn't properly disinfect the scrubbing device from one person to the next, so again this did NOT happeb at No One Nails in Tucson, this was many different previous mail salons here and back in WA state. I actually don't know their procedure at number 1 Nails but I'm sure they take care of their stuff just fine and clean as a supposed to buy I didn't see because they weren't cleaning and scrubbing Stone issues was the one I bought so yeah but I'm sure they do a great job. They've been there for 20 years, or at least Jessica had been working there for 20 years, and from what I saw and everything, 9 believe that they also have 20 + year customers who stay loyal to them, which is always a great sign . the salon was nice and clean and even though it faces the west where the sun sets it was still comfortably cool in there on a very hot day like today. all in all the staff were completely nice and warming and inviting and I'm definitely going to go there next time I want a pedicure or manicure with gel, or a foot scrubber thing, especially for my guy friends .. lol thanks Jessica for a wonderful job, which was quick and not rushed at all. The shop is not the cleanest. Old t shirt put on the back of the predicate chairs, very weird. My main issue is that I am extremely disappointed in the pedicure I got here. I will not be going back, VERY expensive for the outcome and just one week later my pink toe nail polish is chipping on almost all toes so it’s very obvious and bottom of feet are very rough again. The lady barley did anything to file my heels and bottom of feet. It was a very quick pedicure and was $25 + tip and the kicker on top of a horrible pedicure was that they ONLY take CASH or CHECK although I wasn’t told this when I called to make the appointment. I had to leave drive to the nearest ATM, pay a $4 FEE to get cash out and go back to pay. Very, Very inconvenient, they should have told me prior to the appointment. Seriously the best nail salon I’ve ever been to. I’ve been a client off and on for 14 years, I love everyone in the shop. They have zero turnover, so all the ladies that work there will now will be there next time you go. They all really take the time to get to know you, understand what you want and make sure you’re happy. They remodeled a year or two ago, so the pedicure chairs are new and clean👍 Everything in the shop is SPOTLESS, you can tell Jessica, Lee and Alex really take pride in their work and care about their clients. You absolutely must make an appointment, and I’d recommend making it at least a few days out because they are booked. They are CASH ONLY, but I think that helps them keep the prices so reasonable, I’m not sure the have increased them in the last 14 years.
