St. James United Methodist Church — Local services in Tucson

The congregation is small, overwhelming elderly and is trying very hard to be relevant. Unlike some congregations, this one pulls it off in an unlikely manner. The songs are all fine for 1998...but there is still a feel of tenacious life here. I obviously was a visitor, but was not overwhelmed by the congregation in their greeting time. Just the right amount of friendliness. If they ever find their feet in this day and age, and decide to be who they really are....they will grow. I want to say, look past the attempt to be more "today" here.... they most definitely are the real thing and ust need to discover that...

Great place to find the Lord. Only problem is one must be on Facebook or other social media to hear his whole Sunday service. So sad for people who are not...

Nice church for Hispanic . Pastor Frank and his wife starts at 12:30 I think it get out at 2:30 or 3:00...
