Just tried this location this evening and dare I say itās even better than the original location? The food was great. We got ramen and a chicken sandwich which were both sublime. What stood out today above the food was by far the service! Specifically, the warm and attentive woman at the register. We originally came to take the food to go but the place was empty but inviting and we made the impromptu decision to stay with very little planning on our part. We had our two kids with us (3 yo and newborn) the women first checked to see if we would like a high chair or car seat stand. The restaurant is uniquely decorated with anime which my 3 year old enjoyed. The food came quickly but by the time it came my kids were fussy and antsy. My newborn cried the second we got our food and my 3 year old yelled in excitement about the rain shortly after. The women from the register picked up our stress and assured us it was fine and not to worry and to enjoy our food. Whole experience was 10/10 and we will be back. Thank you for the great food and kindness. Oh and, the whole restaurant was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIād been to Tossā original location and had some excellent chicken sandos and wings before. Today I wanted to grab some ramen because Iāve been getting by over an extremely stubborn cold, and Iād heard good things about Tossā take on the classic dish.
Dear reader, when I tell you the Spicy Miso w/char siu, mushrooms, hard boiled egg, chili oil and the best ramen noodles Iāve ever had was great, I mean it literally brought me back to life.
Tucson is kinda an under the radar ramen town and Iāve had very good takes on the dish from a few very good spots in town. Toss clears all of them, and I would say fairly easily.
I also grabbed a chicken sando and dipped it into the spicy broth so that was nice too.
If youāre looking for great ramen without the wait (IYKYK) at a place that also offers great fried chicken, Toss is the place to spend your well...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStellar vibes! We ordered the spicy tonkatsu ramen, spicy miso ramen, and a regular chicken sandwich. Both ramers were flavorful and yummy. The char siu was dry and the noodles on the al dente side, but the rest of the ramen was delicious! The spicy tonkatsu ramen was labeled as 2 chilis spicy and the spicy miso ramen as 1 chili spicy. Neither of us thought either ramen was spicy at all. But they do give you additional chili oil and you can add more spice as you need. The chicken sandwich was very good. It was a large portion, the chicken was juicy, and the bun was soft.
Food: good flavor, spice level might be lower than advertised Service: great, ordered at the front and we got our ramen super fast Price: Good, all our food was under $40 and I got a second meal out of my ramen Atmosphere: super cute vibes, anime posters on the wall, chill...
