De La Vega Gallery — Attraction in Tucson

I stumbled across this gallery a few days ago. I attended Rafael Angel Diaz's Fronteras/Frontiers exhibition at the Mariana de la Vega Gallery, and it was an incredible experience. His piece Family Reunion was especially powerful, capturing so much emotion and meaning. The gallery may be small, but it’s packed with thoughtfully curated exhibitions featuring extremely talented artists.

What makes this space truly special is the warmth of the owner, Mariana. She has a gentle presence that makes you feel welcome, like you could sit down with her over a cup of tea and talk about art, community, or anything in between. The energy she brings fills the gallery with a sense of connection and belonging.

If you're looking for an art gallery in Tucson, this is one you don't want to skip! Open Thursday through Sunday, the gallery regularly hosts art calls for community shows and is bilingual in English and Spanish, making it accessible to many in our community. What a neat little gem of an art studio . Owned by an outgoing wonderful eccentric , Mariana . You’ll find more than a gallery here . There are 2 levels of fun. Every Friday hosts local talent , spoken word , poetry , music , rap , everyone is welcome to attend free event on Fridays. This gallery hosts events that include sip & paints & private parties as well . You guys check it out .

I had the best time doing a custom sip and paint at Mariana’s art gallery. She was fun, super encouraging, and unlike others I’ve been to I loved that she went around the room and asked if anyone needed help.
