I had the worst experience ever yesterday. I have been coming here for over three years. I know the management well as I used to be a manager at one of the neighboring shops in the center I called at 6:43 PM to confirm I could still come in and drop my clothes off. The girl who answered, told me I could until 7:10 PM. She was awesome I wish I could remember her name. So I arrived at 6:50 Because I only live 1.5 miles away. I was then turn down by Zara. I told her that I was told over the phone and even mentioned the ladies name who told me I could be dropping my clothes off until 710. Is there a stated that there was only nine minutes left so she would not take my clothes. I asked if she would make an exception because they were the ones that told me I could come on in over the phone. She got very defensive and said that she did not tell me that. Which I replied calmly, that I am aware I did not speak to her over the phone however, if I still have nine minutes left, you guys should be able to take my clothes, and if not, you should make an exception because I was told over the phone that I could. She then had an attitude, but except in my clothes anyways. Told me to wait and store. It would only take 10 minutes. She proceeded to fly through the bags of clothes and only take seven items. I probably brought close to 40 items in. I do believe she didn’t even try. As this became a social thing. One of the other employees with blonde hair, who seem to be in charge had her friends up in the counter and they were all gossiping about who was in jail and such. Very unprofessional as I was checking out because I decided to get some clothes from here like I usually do. One of the girls at the cash register had a problem. She asked Zorro question because the blonde girl was not around. Zara gave her a very dirty look and had a very poor attitude. I felt very bad for the girl. I have worked in customer service my whole life. Zara was terrible and I will not be...
Read moreI went in first thing sometime last week. There were already people putting their stuff on the table to get ready for employees to go through. The wait wasn’t long. About 20-30mins. What I didn’t appreciate was the fact that they don’t tell you what they took from you. I was told they took 8 of my items and I could either take $26 in store credit or $21 cash. I was never told I could decline the offer. I opted for the cash not thinking much of it. It wasn’t until I got home that I realized they took a pair of shoes and at least two of the four things that had brand new tags. If I would’ve known, I would’ve asked for my shoes back. Guess this is what works for them but I don’t think it’s fair. You’re put on the spot to make a choice without knowing what you’re actually selling to them. You’re telling me I got paid $2.63 per item, including the shoes? I wasn’t expecting $100 but the amount I received is insulting. Also some of the things in there looked old, shoes scratched and worn but didn’t take some of my things that were in great condition? To be honest, I’m glad they didn’t take any more of my items. Another thing, I brought my own bag but with their rushed process, the girl (who wasn’t rude, but also not the friendliest) put my bags in a scented trash bag, which made my infant and I sneeze all the way home. Some people are sensitive to scents so I think it’s inconsiderate to use those bags.
Please refrain from replying to my comment as I’ve seen the same transactional response that reviews like mine get. I want to make people aware of what they’re getting themselves into when going to this business. I don’t plan on returning. Lesson learned....
Read moreI don’t even no where to begin. They have cute clothes if you are just looking to buy, but DO NOT SELL YOUR CLOTHES HERE. You are way better off at daisy exchange who doesn’t take hours to look through your clothes and actually will offer you fair prices. I dropped off clothes to be reviewed and was told it would be an hour and a half wait. I call around that time to see where I was at in the line up and was told that there was only one bag in front of me so it wouldn’t be much longer. I got to the store, and there were four bags in front of mine for review... The sales clerk said to give her half an hour. I go run more errands and come back and my clothes still have not even been touched. By this point it is 5:30, and I dropped my clothes off at 3pm. I understand that sometimes things get backed up, but be more upfront with your estimate and maybe call if it’s taking longer. I told them I couldn’t hang around any longer because I had to be at a meeting downtown and was told I could one back the next day. When I returned the following day, they had picked four of my items for a total of 9 dollars. I figured it would have been t shirts and such but when I looked at what they wanted to buy from me one item was a crushed velvet floor length vintage gown, never worn, that I had originally bought for 80 DOLLARS. I took my things and left.
Thank you so much for wasting a huge part of my day. I realize y’all have to low ball prices to make a profit, but offering me 2 dollars for an 80 dollar gown proves why your name has “cheapskate” in it....
