I had a few issues with my first & last time ordering from this business. I called to purchase a standing spray for a celebration of life taking place at a state park. The lady on the phone took my order & quoted me around $150.. plus a delivery fee. A couple hours later, this same woman called me back & said they “can’t” do a standing spray because it’s not for a funeral home & most families leave the arrangements behind at celebrations of life. I was at work so I wasn’t computing what was being said to me. A couple days later, a different woman called me to ask if the celebration was for a male because I chose blue ribbons & accents. I told her it was for a male & reiterated my entire first experience. She apologized on behalf of the owner. I said I specifically asked for a standing spray & was told I had to have a vase arrangement. I was also charged for the price of a spray.. instead of the vase. I was told they’d make it right: I’d get a spray & I’d receive a photo of the arrangement. I requested said photo because I live 5 hours away. I didn’t receive a photo, was charged almost $200, & never got any confirmation that my arrangement was delivered whatsoever. God forbid I’m ever put in this position again, I will pay $100 JUST in delivery fees.. just to buy from...
Read moreI am appalled at the price ya’ll charged my friend and coworker for a bouquet for his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day. These were not even my flowers but when I saw the bouquet and he told me what ya’ll charged him for it, I was not only surprised but also disgusted. I understand flowers get a mark-up for the holiday but $165.00 is a little insane…and just plain greedy if you ask me. I have shared a picture of the said bouquet. It is just a few Gerber daisies and some hydrangeas. Pretty but not that ridiculous price pretty. Roses should not even cost that much but some daisies and hydrangeas definitely shouldn’t. Nice way to capitalize on a holiday. I showed my boyfriend the picture and he said that while he certainly could afford it, he would never pay that simply on principle. $165!!!...
Read moreMy daughter was picking up a corsage and boutonnière for prom and the middle aged woman with black hair, dressed in red/pink, was extremely rude to her. All she did was say why she was there and gave the name. The whole interaction was rude, but when the woman from the back who brought out the order, handed it to this woman and said, “this is for (name) or whatever.” The woman up front handed it my daughter and said “now get on.” Extremely rude and unprofessional. We have used Jody’s for different occasions for many years. Never again! Disgusting way to treat...
