I have not been in that store over 2 years and I came in the shop the other day me and my wife and we bought some baby clothes and some other baby items toys and stuff like that and there was a section that was marked 70% off on the tags the little Ariel mermaid blanket thing with Mark 70% off 24.99 got up front to register they've checked this out and bring up 2499 went to customer service and the lady refused to go back and look at the tags and I showed her the pictures of the tag where it was marked 70% off on that whole end cap she went and got a team leader named Ty she was the lady and she was very rude the whole time she was talking to me and my wife and I showed her the pictures and she told me that she was not going to go off any pictures at all and I asked her why she said I will go see for myself and those that end cap has been marked 70% off all week can someone posted it on Facebook the discount y'all had and that's why my wife wanted to come down there and shop. But I went back there to show her and she went the wrong way and she finally come back here and she said this is not for everything 70% off is for certain items not the whole end cap and she first and holler at me all the way back up front got up there to the desk and I was trying to talk to her but she didn't want to conversate nicely I was trying to communicate with her as nice as I could she started ignoring me and trying to talk to my wife and I was still trying to talk to her so I took my wife's wheelchair turned her facing away from her and started talking to her again and she told me that she was not going to fix the price that if I wanted it I would pay $24.99 and that would be it so my wife decided that we would keep it for $24.99 but I can tell you one thing I will never ever step foot back in Target I don't care if y'all giving y'all stuff away. But y'all do have good people down some good people down there Andrell Leslie and Ms Lowe and Aaron the security guard is some of the nicest people that you ever want to meet. But with a team leader like Ty and her nasty vulgar mouth is going to run your customers off. I can say for me and my wife that we will never be back down there not after the way we was treated. I don't know the ladies name that was working the service desk but if she was on the evening shift and but I know the other lady but those two people or two of the rudest people that I've ever encountered in a business. Y'all even run a man off for telling people about Jesus outside your store and I know him very well someone told him but he was not welcome down there to talk about Jesus and stuff that he had to get off the property. So with those two people that you have working for you and not wanting to talk of Jesus Christ down there shows me what kind of business organization y'all...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI never thought Iād see the day I would write Target a bad review, and yet here I am, 2 stars.
I have shopped at Target since 1996. Iām the type of person who goes to Target so Target can tell me what I need! When I say Iāve probably spent around $50,000 at Target over the course of many many years Iām not exaggerating. Iām talking countless shopping trips in different cities and different states, including the flagship store in Minneapolis. But when I go into the Tuscaloosa SUPER TARGET (which by the way lacks the prestige brands Iāve found at other Super Targets throughout the country-guess T-Town doesnāt quite warrant Dermalogica on their shelves ), that Target tells me I donāt need anything. If I do happen to hear a faint whisper that says āyou need thisā, itās quickly squashed when I get to the register. For example, the stank attitude of the associates.
I donāt know if Tuscaloosa people know this, but Target associates donāt have stank attitudesā¦unless of course itās in Tuscaloosa. This is where, for the first time, in my Target history, I walked out of the store while the Target associate was ringing me up. It was slamming the returns on the counter, angrily stuffing my purchase in bag and then throwing the handheld scanner on the counter like a mic drop. I simply walked away, said nothing.
Fortunately, Iām packing my momma up and taking her out of this sh!*hole city for good and never returning. Iām happy to be getting back to MY local Target(S), where all 8 are fabulous and full of friendly associates. Bye!
Maybe itās because Tuscaloosa has soooo much RED. Targetās Red, Bamaās Red, their Politics are Res. All that RED, all that hate, all...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn December 14 I came across a 4-tier stand that had a $2 sign. The $2 sign was about the size of a stop sign. I picked up 2 of the 5 air diffusers that were there and did a few shopping then proceeded to checkout. Once ready to scan the diffuser it rang up 14.99. I informed the lady working in self check out and she called one of the supervisors to come over. I asked her why when the items were still right in front of the register and she could go over and see for herself. She said she needed approval. Okay fine whatever. It took about 15 minutes before Ms Aura came over and said let me check it out. She leaves and is gone another 15 minutes. She finally comes back after I asked for her again. She said she could only honor one and not he others because one side had $2 does not mean everything is $2 and the only reason she is honoring only one is because there were NO OTHER PRICES ON THE TIER. I stated if there where no other prices on the tier then everything on the tier is $2. Aura replied by saying I dont have to honor anything because it was placed in the wrong spot and I should make you pay full price for both. I told Aura that's not right because both are in my basket the sign is in your hand and there are more still on the tier. Aura stated that's not her problem do you want this one or not. I asked to speak with someone else and Aura said she is someone else. Auras attitude was UGLY, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND UNKIND. I left the store and did not purchase anything. Thank you target for hiring Aura. I will not shop at that...
