I had the worst experience at this new chick Fil a. I went through the drive thru and it took forever despite being the only one in line. I ordered two ice creams and a pup cup. I went to a different chick Fil a before and they told me they do pup cups (cup of whipped cream). When I ordered a pup cup the worker looked at me like I had two heads. I had to explain it was just a cup of whipped cream. I also ordered a cup of ice cream with cookie crumbles and chocolate syrup. When I got to the window they asked me my name twice. They have like 12 workers up there just standing around doing nothing. Meanwhile I’m waiting so long for some ice cream. Finally they bring out our order with no receipt and no napkins. The worker rudely says “we don’t do ice cream in a cup, we did it for you this time but in the future we won’t!” I was so surprised that she said that I guess she meant to say whipped cream… either way if a customer asks for whipped cream in a cup idk why that can’t happen. The delivery was so rude and the customer service didn’t match up with typical chick Fil a’s. I ended up having to go back inside because they charged us for an extra ice cream and my cup didn’t have the correct toppings despite being charged extra for two toppings. When I went inside to get it fixed the director was so rude. She comes up to me and rudely says the reason my order was messed up was because “they don’t do ice cream with multiple toppings and they don’t do whipped cream in a cup”. When I expressed that I received a pup cup at a different location she looked annoyed and just kept saying “we don’t do that”. What happened to making the customer happy?? Won’t be eating here again. Hopefully they can get their act together and get a director that actually knows the term “customer service.” Where is the professionalism these days?? Not here...
Read moreMy family and I had some errands to run in Tuscaloosa. The fam wanted Chick-fil-A and this was the closest one to us. I figured after 2 years it was worth giving the location another try. I regretted it almost as soon as we got in the Drive-Thru.
This is primarily a drive-thru location, they do have Windows, that I presume you could order from, but I've never seen anyone use them. There's no dining room here.
The drive-thru was very backed up. I know we sat in line for at least a half an hour before we received our food. When we got our food it wasn't all that great. The breading on the chicken nuggets almost peeled off because they weren't cooked long enough. The chicken was cooked thoroughly but the breading was soggy.
The staff were friendly, if slightly inexperienced. Our order was correct this time. I don't want to go into too many other details but was a very unpleasant Chick-fil-A experience. Last time I said I doubt we will ever go to this location again. This time I can say, with finality, I will never go here again.
They did have a huge thing going for them, from the Allen's how to rate a business book. It's the reason I didn't drop a star. I used to be the manager of a major department store and the cleanliness behind the store is usually an indication of what it looks like on the inside. One of my photos is of the back of the restaurant. You can tell from the photo that the facility is aging but there's no garbage on the ground or in the corners. Good job there guys!
I know that this location does not reflect all CFA's. There are three Chick-fil-A's in my hometown, approximately five or six miles from one another and they are usually spot on.
Approximately 2 years ago as of June 2022: The order was incorrect. They actually forgot to give my wife her food. I doubt we will go to...
Read moreHonestly not sure why CFA has not closed this location. It is chronically the most underperforming of any CFA I’ve ever visited. I’ve given them the benefit of the doubt for years, but after today, I’m done.
I placed an online order at 6:49. I got to the restaurant at 7. The drive thru was long, so I of course expected to wait for my order, despite it having already been submitted for 10 minutes.
I stood outside the walk up window for 8 minutes before anyone opened it, at which point Anna did and handed out a couple orders. She never asked if I’d been helped or not, so I told her I had an online order and was just checking the status. She said “I don’t know, we’re busy.”
I said ok, she shut the window, I continued to wait. After 24 minutes had gone by, I again asked about it as she was handing out other orders. I continued to be kind and told her I just needed an idea of where I was in line as I may have to just leave as I had an appointment to get to.
Anna again said she didn’t know and sort of rolled her eyes. What appeared to be a manager sat an order next to her, she took it, handed it to me, and told me I need to be patient because they’re busy and doing what they can.
I own a restaurant myself. I understand being busy. I understand being short staffed. It’s also why I never was inpatient during my 24 minute wait, demanding, or anything other than kind to Anna. But her attitude and comment as she handed me my order was unnecessary and sealed the deal on this location for me. Unfortunately, it seems this attitude is a top-down mentality here.
Save your headache and time and drive across town to the Northport CFA. You’ll be...
