Liars!!! They lead you on and LIE to you!!! Have you driving an hour and a half TWICE to get there and find out everything you were told was a LIE. They say whatever they can to get you in the door. We applied, came in person, and couldn't work out a deal. In the days after, the employee texted us offering a deal. We asked for proof, who approved us and for their contact number. His "proof" was a picture of a computer screen and he told us who approved us, but told us we couldn't have their contact info (fishy much) BUT on his picture "proof" was the approval number! So we called and were told we were approved with $0 down. The dealership told us $750 down. Maybe that's money talk with the complication of other things, and we had the down payment either way. We asked, repeated, confirmed multiple times the amount per month that was necessary and that we were trading in our vehicle. We get there and are told it's no trade in and $70+ more than our max amount per month. We CONFIRMED our requirements MULTIPLE TIMES before making this trip. The manager was useless to us, terrible!!! He said his salesman is "just a salesman" and his job is to relay what he's told and that he didn't "intentionally" lie to us, it's just that he didn't know. Wait... he didn't know we wanted to do a trade in? He didn't know we had a max amount per month? Manager says he didn't know the approval was without a trade in. He doesn't know how to do his job, he doesn't know the ins and outs of the process. The manager said yes he does, he contacted us with a bank approval that works for us. I said NO... He contacted us with a bank approval that WORKS FOR YOU!! OUR requirements were ignored. He lied to us and told us we were accommodated. I should have listened to the ones who told us "all" University places are like this and stayed home!!! Not to mention we told him at the first visit that we had a pre-approval letter and didn't want our credit ran multiple times, and what do you know 6 inquiries hit our report!!! The sad thing? The one who pre-approved us is the one who DID approve us! The 5 other hits without our permission damaged our credit report for NOTHING without our permission!!! Josh Burks is the salesman and Randy Foster is...
Read moreI wanted to order a new Chevrolet. On November 8, 2022 I spec'd out exactly what I wanted on Chevrolet's site. Contacted Greenway as they are one of my local Chevy dealers. I was contacted by their Product Specialist Vince who said he handled all of the Corvette orders. I was told they have some allocations coming up and that the wait shouldn't be too long (I spec'd out a rather basic C8). Great! Can you tell me the price? I sent the exact order from the site showing MSRP so they were well aware of what I was ordering. Nope. Can't do that yet. Next communication was, when can you come in so we can take a look? I've given you exactly what I want already, but you're not too far away (25 min) so no problem. I went in the next week at which time the Product Specialist handed me over to a salesman to spec out the vehicle I wanted (remember, I've already sent that directly from the site, and also texted it). So, I sit down with the salesman and spec out the vehicle again. The salesman even said he didn't know why I was handed off to him because the Product Specialist usually handled all of the Corvette orders. At this point I still was not given a price. I was told they have to get with the GM at the TOYOTA dealership next door to see what they will sell the vehicle for.?.?.? As I'm leaving, I was told they should have it ordered in a day or so. Funny...I don't even have a price yet. So, I waited. And I waited. And I waited. It's now been exactly four months since my initial contact through Chevrolet's site. I've called the salesman back who said the Product Specialist would have been the one to get me that, but he would follow up for me and find out what is going on and get back with me asap. It's now been days again since that. I HATE writing a bad review, but I absolutely do not understand why in four months, I could not even be given a price so we could either move forward with an order/purchase, or not. This was to be my first Chevrolet out of the 20+ brand new cars I have bought in my life. It obviously will not be from Greenway as they could not even...
Read moreWe came to Long-Lewis Chevrolet specifically to look at a certain vehicle. We had spoken to Mathew Hensley on Facebook about the vehicle and gotten some additional information and pictures/ videos before coming to look at it in person. Matt was great throughout the process, we would highly recommend working with him.
The dealership does not work numbers, the price you see is what you get. I will say that they do have fair prices from what we saw. Along with a firm price, they would not do any add-ons such as weather tech floor mats. They did agree to have their paint-less dent removal guy take out a few door dings for us which was appreciated.
After purchasing, we noticed the front passenger headlight was cracked. We messaged Matt and without hesitation, they ordered a new headlight and were willing to fix this. This was huge because they could have said, “too late” and done nothing. We purchased a 2022 used vehicle. The headlights run over a thousand dollars just for the headlight, not considering labor to install.
They contacted us when the headlight was in and we set up a time to bring the vehicle for repair. We dropped our vehicle off early in the morning and it was done by the afternoon on the same day. They also provided us with a comparable vehicle to use while ours was being worked on.
Two other small issues were that the vehicle only came with one key. They did say we could purchase another from them but I feel like it should come with two. Also, we asked if they could get us the factory door code (Ford) and they said we could take it to the Ford dealership but that we would have to pay for it and he wasn’t sure how much it would cost. Again, I feel like this is something that they should provide without charge.
Overall, the pros definitely outweigh any of the negatives we experienced during this process. We would definitely consider buying from here again...
