We have driven by this restaurant many times on the way to Tiplersville Auction in Mississippi. Today, My Husband & I decided to stop here. If I could give this Restaurant a gazillion stars, I would. If you like a Family Atmosphere, with Truly Down Home Cookin and Huge portions for the most unbelievable price point...This is THE Place to go.(Worth the drive from Anywhere) Sunday is pick one Meat and Three veggies plus drink and dessert for $8.99...Seriously❗😱😊😊 I had Chicken w/dressing, gravy & cranberry jelly, Fried Okra (Could eat a plateful of this all by itself), Mac and cheese & potato salad. Oh, I know, Mac & cheese is, technically not a veggie but Praise Jesus it is in the SOUTH. My Husband had Chicken Fried Steak and Mashed potatoes. {Much fussier eater than most people} This meal was like Sunday Dinner at your Granny's. I've run on a bit but definitely, highly, "You NEED" to eat here Recommend this Wonderful Place. Can't wait to bring our grown children next time. Bonus, I don't have to cook.LOL Walk...

Amazing place for breakfast. Eating here was like eating old, traditional recipes from your grandmother's house. The biscuits are freshly made, the eggs perfectly cooked. Bacon was perfectly crispy, hash browns were soft on the inside, crispy on the outside. Best sawmill gravy I've had. Belgian waffle was made perfectly, with whipped butter and syrup. I will definitely be getting pancakes next time, they looked delicious.

Price is around $8-10/person, so much food and well worth the price. You might have to wait a little, so expect to be there around an hour sitting down overall, as they are busy and for very good reason.

I'd make one tiny suggestion of seasoning the steak for biscuits, even just a little salt and pepper. My husband got the steak biscuits and it was a little bland, but fine adding a little s & p.

Overall a wonderful place for breakfast that has something for everyone. Whether you're local or visiting, you don't want to...

If you aren’t a regular DO NOT GO ON SUNDAY! I have eaten here several times since they opened and food is usually Okay but have had issues with it being plain and unseasoned, but particularly on Sunday they do not offer a kid friendly menu(only meat and 3 from their list for the day), they are overly packed, you have to seat yourselves and they pay NO attention to what table sits first I waited on a server who greeted 2 tables who sat down after my family and both tables received drinks before we ever received a greeting, meanwhile they are chatting it up with all their regulars and forgetting everyone else. After waiting almost 30 mins we finally get greeted and then told they have no regular menu on Sunday so considering I had 4 children who I know weren’t going to eat off the plate lunch menu we had to leave. Just all around...

Country fried steak swimming in gravy, fried pork chops, purple hull peas, turnip greens all perfectly cooked and seasoned. If your mouth isn't watering yet there is no south in your soul. The portions are huge, at lunch there are daily specials that include food, drink, three sides and a roll or corn bread at a very reasonable price. There are also great menu specials. They start serving breakfast at 6:30 a.m. The food is wonderful, service is good and the number of locals who regularly dine there is a sign that things are done right.

If you like meat and three w/ dessert style meals this is your place. The chicken and dressing was just like my great grandmother used to make it and the fried okra was unbelievable!!! The service was great, the staff are really friendly, and they made sure every need we could possibly have was met. The portions are so big you will not leave hungry. This is going to be our new Sunday tradition!!! Sorry about the half eaten picture, I couldn’t help myself when I saw that okra!!!

Waited over an hour for our food, only to receive it after being there an hour an a half, to pay $30 for take out, to then have to wait in line to pay for our wasted time. We had to get our own refills. What a waste of $ and time. And the flippant attitude when answering the question if everything was OK with our visit did it in... please don't make the same mistake we did
