Unfortunately I canât bestow the rating this place deserves, a â âď¸. Thatâs less than zero stars. Literally one of the worst retail experiences of my entire life. I purchased what was advertised as a Leatherman multi-tool, and having owned several knew them to be sturdy and finely machined, hence I felt no need to go over the thing with a fine-tooth comb. The first time I attempted to employ one of the accessories it snapped in two as I pulled it into ready position and I knew right away this was no genuine Leatherman. Straightaway I did the inspection I shouldâve done prior to purchase and saw, beneath the âLeathermanâ logo (copyrighted, Iâm sure), in teensy little text, the word âstyleâ. I went back to the store and, giving them the benefit of the doubt, told them they were unwittingly selling a counterfeit product and to kindly return my money as the object in question was clearly defective and sold under false pretense to boot. âTake it up with the manufacturer,â I was curtly told by Linda, the owner. She must have an awfully large family to have amassed as many positive reviews as she has, that or deep enough pockets to pay people for them. âIf this were an actual Leatherman I could easily do that, as they are just a few hours north in Portland, Oregon and they stand by their products. Whatever shady gray-market knockoff vendor you got this from forgot to put his customer service number on the box, darn it. I donât speak Chinese anyway. I didnât buy it from them, I bought it from you and I want my money back.â âIâm gonna have to ask you to leave the store and not come back,â she snarled. Silently, I folded my arms and stood resolutely firm, secure in my position as a wronged patron with a righteous claim. Linda picked up the phone and muttered something into it, and shortly 3 large men came over and formed a rather menacing semicircle around me. âTake your (expletive deleted) purchase and get the (ditto) outta here,âone of them said. Implicit in his tone and the collective attitude of all three henchmen was the threat of physical violence should I remain steadfast. Being a person of advanced years and small stature I chose the wiser course and took my leave. In summation, this place is owned and staffed by crooks and thugs. They are bullies, they are dishonest, and anyone patronizing this establishment is aiding and abetting a...
Read moreCame in On February 24, 2020 purchased 2 cases of MREs at $35/case(got better price cause I bought 2, normal price is $40/case) . Returned after the national and statewide state of emergency was announced on March 17th, 2020 figured I'd grab a case, set it on the counter the gentleman rung it up and told me it was gonna be $75! For that single case. I understand that they are in high demand in this time of panic but that is unreasonable price gouging. Not to mention the nearly doubled price of ammunition, come on G I Joe you're supposed to supply not gouge people so hard that they won't get supplies used to love this store but this not only illegal but shows how much the customer matters, if you need ammo I'd recommend seeking it elsewhere and order your MREs online to keep some money in...
Read moreWow, this is so terrible I wouldn't even give it a star if possible. Not only was their inventory subpar and almost non existent, they were rude and abrasive. Not one employee was wearing a face mask during this Covid pandemic and one employee actually made a sheep crying sound at me, making fun of me for wearing a face mask. I was actually ready to spend a good amount of money at this establishment. I'm happy they were so incredibly rude before inquiring about a future purchase...
