My daughter had her birthday party here with a small group of friends. They made a clay project of Bluey. Each one had a blast and enjoyed their time in the studio.
From start to finish, Emma was great with communication in planning. She texted over project options with paintings or clay art. My daughter chose clay and Emma sent over photos of sample projects she could choose from. My daughter asked to do a "Bluey" clay art project and I thought to ask even though I didn't see any samples in the studio. Emma asked for an image and within a few days they created one for the guests to replicate. That was appreciated as my daughter and her guests love Bluey and were so tickled to be able to make one.
We did have a hiccup on the day of the party but Emma, her studio manager and staff were able to accommodate everything without batting an eyelash! I appreciated their flexibility and ability to pivot flawlessly. The staff were so helpful with setup and always making sure everyone had what they needed. They took care of cleaning up the space, and disposing of any party remnants for us at the end of the event. Our instructor was so friendly and talented. She went around to help any of the guests who needed assistance on their project.
Emma was so friendly and thoughtful. She made sure there were personal touches and made sure each guest felt special. She checked on us frequently during the event as well.
My daughter loved it and so did her friends. I wouldn't hesitate to hold another birthday party here again.
Thank you to Emma, our instructor, the studio manager...
Read moreWe've been going to Green Forest Art Studio for MANY MANY years pre-pandemic and continue to attend classes and camps post-pandemic. We adore Ms. Lynette. She's super friendly and helpful and always has paint splatters on her clothes (the mark of a true artist!). We like that they use all sorts of mediums - pencils, water colors, charcoal clay, canvas, oil pastels, etc. It's a very robust curriculum and the kids have an amazing time. They provide everything - even during the pandemic when we did classes over Zoom, we'd pick up the super high quality art supplies and do the lesson at home. My little one who can't sit still for the life of her - sat through each of these 1 & 1/2 Zoom classes doing art! It was amazing and a prelude to Zoom school. We have so much art in the house that we now give them away as gifts but everyone loves it - a handmade present! For in-person classes - we drop off the kids and run errands for the time and come back to pick up the kids and their project of the week. There are some projects that take a couple weeks. And the best thing is that you're not locked in to going EVERY WEEK. You pay for a chunk of lessons and go when you can - don't have to schedule make-ups or miss other things because of art class. They are very flexible in scheduling. Ms. Emma and Mr. Tim are the owners and they are awesome. They make signing up super easy. I really encourage you to...
Read moreI’ve been owning this review for a very long time since my girl started learning drawing in 2 grade and winning contest with the direction and support of Ms. Emma throughout the years. Now my girl is going to UC SD to further pursuit her interest as ICAM (Interdisciplinary Computer Art and Music) major. To her, it is a dream come true.
Over the many years of her taking art classes with Ms. Emma and studio teachers, I found that she has learn many invaluable life skills; she have learned not only know how to make ideas into a piece of art but also how to manage her time and pace herself to complete these project (including how to procrastinate 😉) These skills have made her high school life much easier and made her an overall happier and confident person. Now that she is going to her next chapter of life but loving and doing art has become part of her.
Ms. Emma has great patience and skills in knowing how to engage her students to learn and an eye for champion in Art competitions! She knows and have the capability to show her student what to take and how to become a winner in these competitions if the student can prudently follow through.
I want to say BIG BIG THANK YOU Ms. Emma for supporting and guiding my daughter to discover...
