Great brands, great deals, friendly staff, huge selection! This was my first visit; came with extended family while I was visiting town. This place was great. Each section of items is well sectioned and organized (there are huge organized sections of dresses, of shoes, of pants, etc). They have things well organized by size and color (you'll find some sizes misplaced, however for the huge volume, it's maintained quite well). I had limited time and only made it through looking for dresses...huge area. Everything is out and there may or may not have more than one or different sizes out on the rack. Tip I was given: go through the racks, if you like it, grab it...get a bundle of items to try on and then decide. They have a good system for try ons (they allow you to place your excess items on a rack and try on a few at a time). Things are already marked down and then there are additional markoffs (eg, well known brand dresses, originally over $100, marked down to $41, additional 40% off). Signs indicate how much additional will be marked off and they appear to have additional specials. All sales are final. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only concern I had...I wish they had carts, as it was hard to carry everything... they have mesh bags that work for some things, however not for an arm full of dresses on hangers, lol. I imagine, however, carts might make the area a bit crowded and hard to maneuver through. Overall, we had a great experience and if I'm in town, I'd love to visit again. I'd recommend others to visit. Reserve a bit of time, as there's alot...
Read moreMade my first and last trip to this location in search of a dress for a formal event for my teen daughter. Those who know this struggle know that there will be many dresses tried on in different sizes and colors. The fitting rm experience was awful. I was first told I couldn't wait outside the door. I had to go into the tiny room with her and all her dresses. We were shopping with a friend and coming in and out to show was surely frowned upon. I went to get another size and was pretty much blocked by the employee from giving it to her, stating she would need to come out and get back in line. I thought it was ridiculous so I brought it to her anyways. While in the room, a different attendant came and told me we could come out or we could leave. She stated that I was "really upsetting her" while stomping outside my door.
Looking at the other reviews, this type of treatment seems to be common in the fitting rooms. Open more fitting rooms if the store is so busy you want to inconvenience people by having them put their clothing on, get out of line and wait again. Dillards, do better. I'm taking to you, little short blonde lady!! Even if we found a dress- I would have left it based on this...
Read moreDisappointing Customer Service Experience
I visited Dillard’s today with my husband, and unfortunately, our experience left us deeply disappointed. As we were leaving, my husband realized he had left his phone near the men’s shoes. When he went back to retrieve it, the staff refused to let him back inside, even though they were still assisting the last customer.
One of the employees, who was quite rude/unprofessional, treated us as if we were criminals. We tried to explain the situation and showed her the phone’s location via the Find My app, but she was unhelpful and insisted we return tomorrow to retrieve the phone. This was not only inconvenient but also incredibly frustrating, especially since we live 45 minutes away.
To make worse, my husband needs his phone for work, and the employee seemed indifferent to the urgency of the situation. We left feeling completely ignored and dissatisfied. We’ve always had good experiences at Dillard’s, but this one was a letdown.
I hope Dillard’s can address this issue and provide better customer service...
