We went in to be seated, there was a woman ahead of us who stated she was told it was a 10 minute wait, her name was added to the list and she had been waiting 45 minutes with no one coming up to explain to her why she had been waiting. Someone came up after we had been there about 5 minutes and my husband immediately motioned to the lady that had been waiting, saying she had been there a while. She asked if we were on the list and we said no, we were trying to get in. She stared at us and my husband said âwe want a tableâ and she got hostile and said ok, whatâs your name then? We told her and she said there were a couple of people ahead of us and we understood and asked what the wait time was. She said 10 minutes and I asked if it was 10 minutes or if it would be longer, we knew they closed at 9 and the woman in front of us had been waiting 45 minutes with no explanation. She told us she couldnât help that woman, they came in after a big party and the kitchen didnât have enough food made at the time to seat her. I apologized and said I wasnât trying to be hostile or rude, just was asking and she huffed and rolled her eyes. We said never mind, wished the lady that had been waiting good luck and left. I understand being short staffed and being overworked and burnt out, but being rude and hostile isnât necessary. I hope the customer that was waiting was seated promptly and treated better...
Read moreEverytime I go I think maybe it was an off day, but each time service gets worse. I went on a Friday night around 530 and there were about 6 tables seated, 3 waitresses, some floaters, and cooks in the back. I ordered a cranberry pecan chicken salad with no chicken and some hasbrowns, my husband ordered a grilled chicken salad w/ French dressing, and my father ordered a BLT, side of carrots. We all had coffee. We waited 45 minutes for our food order, was only offered one cup of coffee and no refills during our 45 minute wait. Finally we were told our food was coming shortly. During our long wait, someone was coming around asking folks if they needed any more drinks, but our table was missed.
When food arrived the plates were piping hot. Great! My father was the only one that received a correct order of a BLT and Carrots. My husband received a fried chicken salad without dressing and the fried chicken was cold. I received a salad that consisted of lettuce, onion, and cranberries thrown into a bowl. I asked for some pecans the waitress said sure, walked away, returned with nothing to another table and then asked for a box and my check. Walked up front and saw a slew of orders ready under the lights waiting to be served.
I know itâs challenging with staffing but there is no excuse. If you canât staff to seat folks then convert to pickup only.
Next time, Iâll go to Cracker...
Read moreI placed an online order for curbside several weeks ago. When I arrived I noticed that I was I was five minutes earlier than my estimated pickup time. When I checked in, I was told it wasnât ready yet and they would bring it out shortly. From the outside I couldnât really tell if they were super busy but I like to give places the benefit of the doubt, so I waited 35 minutes past my given pickup time. After calling the curbside number again and not getting an answer, I just went in. The place looked almost completely empty but with three staff members just chatting at the counter. I looked at a shelf inside and sure enough it was my order just sitting there. Once I got the bag I asked how long has it been there. No one could answer the question. The ice in the drinks were completely melted. Me and one of the staff removed a couple of the items, and they were cold. The staff member acknowledged that the bottom of one of the boxes which had a burger and fries, was very cold to the touch. No one offered anything to fix the problem and they all really just seemed confused. As frustrated as I was I told the staff that mistakes happen and just asked if management could reach out to me on a day theyâre there. As of today no one has reached out which is why Iâm leaving...
