For a property that is owned by Marriott we were very disappointed and disgusted by this place. Let me just start by saying the pictures are very deceiving. This hotel needs some serious remodeling and updating. It started off with me noticing things in the room like a rusty sink, nasty dirty vent in the bathroom, cobwebs on fixtures and in the corners and just all around older and needing updating. My husband and I took our showers and got ready for bed and then the worst part of this stay happen. I started to get in bed and noticed a bug on the bed and obviously freaked out. I'm not a bug expert but all I can say is it was not a roach. I snapped a photo of it quickly with my phone while my husband grabbed it off of the bed and flushed it. We then called down to the front desk at midnight and told them what was going on. We ended up having to switch rooms in the middle of the night only to go into another room that was just a little bit better but thankfully no bugs in that room. We were scheduled to stay in this hotel two nights and left the next day. The only positive thing I can give this hotel is the staff that we dealt with when we checked in was a super nice guy. When we checked out the manager repeatedly apologized to us and was very nice. All I can say is this place needs to do better being a property owned by Marriott!

Stayed at this location on Labor Day weekend, suite room was nice, clean and comfy, but there is one flaw, the bathroom shower doors, the shower door on right is secured in place does not move, the shower door on left is the one that opens to let person into shower but that is same end the shower head is on as well, all knows must turn shower on for few minutes before to get water hot, then there was the shower turn on valve handle had to rotate is around about twice to get hot water, then the bathroom entrance door which would not stay where it was placed at and would open and end up wright in front of shower door handle, hot to have bathroom door open some so that the entire bathroom would not steam completely up. if shower doors was switched position it be better. But rest was Great.

Very polite staff. The room was exceptionally clean, the breakfast had a large variety of different foods and drinks. Lots of parking! Rooms are modern. Hallways and stairs are also very clean. The indoor pool is also very well maintained, my child loved it! Washing room also modern and clean! Overall the best stay we have had in 2 years of constant traveling.

Im not even sure where to begin, but if I could rate this zero or negative stars I would.

I got a free night voucher at this hotel from work. we had called the Thursday before valentines day hoping to get a room. The woman we spoke to on the phone said they had a room and everything was great, took my credit card information down and said I should receive a conformation email. When I did not receive this Email I called again, no answer.

4 days later.. I called again. This time I spoke to a young man who said he was a manager and didn't understand why I didn't have a room in their system but had gotten everything figured out for us which was wonderful. While on the call with him I received my conformation number and everything was set to go.

Valentines day comes around we check in smoothly everything goes great, we checked out, very friendly staff that day. The 16th there was a charge on my card WAY over what they told me was a hold in case anything happens while we stay ( and nothing happened). So I called to wonder what this charge was about. According to their records I had 2 rooms and I didn't "show up" for the "first room" so I was charged because I didn't show up for my reservation. I didn't know I had the first one and the woman who checked us in didn't say anything so how were we supposed to know? When I asked what could be done, the woman on the phone said, since its under my name, my card and my phone number theres nothing they can do. Im irate at this point ask for the woman name and promptly ended the call, as I had to go to work.

I go into the hotel Tuesday night, wanting to speak to someone in person trying to get this figured out, I spoke to the woman at the front desk who said that whoever I talked to on the phone shouldn't have said that and I told her the woman I talked to was named Cindy. She look appalled and informed me that this was they're general manger. She was very polite and informed me that she would have Cindy call me back Wednesday between 1 and 3. It is now past 3 and I have received no call back.

I am unbelievably irate and appalled at how this establishment would treat their customers. Especially the General Manager. I will no longer consider this line of hotels when traveling and will take my...

I feel these days people are not at concerned about how they come across to others. When they fall down on their engagement with other people. They seem to not take accountability for their words and actions yet they are quick to shift the negative issues and experiences felt by others onto them instead of truly taking a good look at themselves first and seeing how they are coming across to others. Because I do not have any family and I do not have any real friends at all. I also have slight physical issues which to affect people in a negative way. When I am given poor or below satisfactory service and or treatment. I address them with my concerns. They appear to me cold and curt about this as they may not experience what I go through on a daily basis. I am treated differently than most pretty much all of the time. Even when they appear to smile and or show positive and or friendly professional attitude. You can feel whether they are truly genuine or they are just biting their tongues as they have to be that way. My stay at the Fairfield was no different. My checking in and addressing my check in issues along with getting my reservation which I had 2 back to back reservations to be connected was not handled properly and the next rep in the morning had to correct the matter which seemed to anger her. Also many times I am not sure why I am treated this way? People address me as a man when I am not a man. I am called sir and they address me as such. Even after seeing clearly that my name is far from being a male name and even after they see me they still address me abruptly. Every where I go, every where I stay I am addressed the same negative way. I am also always alone unfortunately for these reasons. People seem to not know how to deal with people whom have physical and or ethical issues...

My stay started off well. The lady at the front desk during check in was ok. She wasn’t very friendly at first but the more I talked to her she became more pleasant. The gentleman that was also at the desk was very nice and pleasant. He was even making me laugh. Once we got back from our night there was a different man that was working that night. Once I got upstairs I realize the extra rags that I had requested weren’t there. So I called down to the front desk and didn’t get an answer. I called back two more times and still no answer. The last time I let it ring for a long time. So I went downstairs. Once I got downstairs I stood at the front desk until this man/employee came out. He didn’t ask could he help me he just looked at me. So I asked for the wash cloths and he walked away to get them. He handed them to me and said nothing else. I said thank you and he didn’t respond. When I went back upstairs I opened the refrigerator to put my drink in there with my food and the refrigerator had turned off. I turned it back on then got in the shower. When I got out the refrigerator was back off. Because I had food in it I called downstairs to ask for help with the refrigerator. The man said he doesn’t know anything about the refrigerator. And that I should just keeping turning it back on while we were staying there. I felt like that was not good Customer Service. He didn’t care about it at all. The next morning when we went to breakfast while we were eating the lady that was running it started to put the food up for breakfast was over and told us we better get what we need before she put it up. I felt that was very rude. This was not a good stay at this location at all. I have never been treated like this at one of your hotels before. I...
