For the record, I haven't been to a movie on it's opening weekend since I was a kid, so I don't know how this theater handles a huge crowd or what kind of experience it is when they have a full house. That being said, I really love this movie theater. I've been going there since it was just Westgate Cinema with 3 screens and remember I was amazed there were that many screens at one place.š I have a lot of good memories there with my first memory being going to see E.T. when I was in 1st or 2nd grade. I don't rate it high just for nostalgia though. It's a great movie theater. The rooms I have been in were not very big compared to some other theaters, but it really is a nice theater. I think the 3 main screen rooms are bigger than the others and usually play the newer releases to accommodate more people, but I could be wrong about that. The seats are awesome. They are very comfortable, big (I'm pretty fat I fit comfortably in them) and can be reclined. The theater is always very clean, including the restrooms. The movies look and sound great and I have no complaints at all about the picture or sound. I like that they have certain specials on specific days, so I'd check out their website before you go. Of course the prices of snacks and drinks are insane, but that has always been, and always will be, the way it is no matter what theater you go to. I can't take away anything for that and I still give it 5 stars since I don't think it would be fair to hold the high snack and drink prices against them since it's par for the course. It's just even higher now than usual because of Bidenflation, but that's a different story. Anyway, I will continue to go here and highly recommend it to anyone else considering going there. I don't think you'll be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe went to see Bad boys for life on 1/17 at 9:50pm. We had luxury seats that were super comfortable! The theater was very clean and the concession stand staff was very friendly. A few concerns I have are, we ordered our tickets online ahead of time. We picked which seats we wanted that were in the back. One was a regular seat in the middle of 3 and the other was a companion seat. When we gave the lady our barcode she said we purchased a handicap seat but it was ok. When we went in the theater we had seats 6 and 7. But seat 7 did not have a chair. Thankfully there wasnt alot of people so we sat in 6 and 5. The picture of the theater online is different then what the actual theater is so that's how we ended up purchasing a handicap spot which would have sucked if someone with a wheelchair needed to fit in. Also, the volume wasnt that loud for the back seats. The action parts were loud enough but when the actors spoke it was sort of hard to hear. And my last issue was we were never told that the concession stand closes at a certain time. When we went out for our refills it was closed down and noone is there. If customers come in for that late of a movie you should let them know when the concession stand closes so they are aware and are able to get the refills...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis theater is basically two different entities. The front is very outdated and needs major renovations, while the back is very modern and provides great viewing experiences.
The front three theater halls are awful. The sound isn't great and the screen is often a tad fuzzy. Plus the seats in those front three halls are terribly uncomfortable. Bathrooms could use a major upgrade as well. Tons of rust on the stalls and only a few urinals, toilets.
The six theater halls in the back are renovated with great screens, sound-systems, and brand new leather rocking seats. In my opinion it is best to see when a movie, when it is playing in the back. The theater is smaller, clearer, and sounds 100x better.
All in all, still one of my favorite movie theaters. Great prices for tickets and concessions, and a great staff. Halls & restrooms are very clean. Hope to see some renovations in the front, that would make it...
