I was in Kroger the other day getting a 12 pack of coke but I couldn't find the 12 packs. So I got a 2 liter. When I went to go check out and typed in my card number, I saw 12 packs by the entrance doors but I had already paid for the 2 liter. So I told the cashier that I wanted to refund the 2 liter for a 12 pack. So she had me go to this cashier named Corey to have him refund the 2 liter for the 12 pack. I typed in my card number for the second time and the 12 pack was $3.56 and I paid with a $5 bill. He gave me back $1.44 and then when I left Kroger thinking that he put the money that I was supposed to get back for the 2 liter in the bag with the 12 pack but then when I looked in the bag I realized that he never gave me back the money for the 2 liter. I told Corey that he never gave me back the money for the 2 liter. His excuse was that the 12 packs were $5 and that he did give me the money back for the 2 liter. Maybe the 12 pack would've been $5 if I hadn't of put in my card number and even if I wouldn't of put in my card number I paid $1.79 for the 2 liter and he only gave me back $1.44. That would've been cheating me out of 35 cents which I needed for that night so I could buy food but I did put in my card number which made the 12 pack $3.56 and he gave me back $1.44 which would've totaled $5. $3.56 + $1.44 = $5. He told me that the $1.44 that he gave me back was for the 2 liter when it was really for the 12 pack. So I had to go back in there three times because the second time I didn't bring the 12 pack back in because I thought that he would've just been nice enough to give me back the money that I had paid for the 2 liter, that's when I told him that he never gave me back the money for the 2 liter and that's when he told me that the 12 packs were $5. After the third time I went back in I knew that if I went back in there again he would just tell me the same thing because that's what he did the third time so I just left Kroger. So I ended up paying for the 12 pack and the 2 liter even though I only got the 12 pack. I paid $5.35 in total for a 12 pack when I only should've had to pay $3.56. I paid $2 for the 2 liter and I paid $5 for the 12 pack but I got back the 21 cents when I originally paid for the 2 liter. So out of $7 I only got back $1.65 when I should've got back $3.44 because $7.00 - $3.56 = $3.44. None of this would've happened if the 12 packs were in the right place. I am a regular customer at Kroger and I don't deserve that kind of treatment. In fact no customer deserves that kind of treatment. I've had a tremendous amount of problems with Corey. He isn't friendly with customers. He isn't poilte. He tries to cheat customers out of their money and he has a negative attitude. He works with a service and should be loyal to customers who spend their time and money shopping at Kroger. The more customers Kroger has the larger his paycheck is so he should be nicer to customers if he wants a...

Had another terrible experience at this kroger today. The cashier, older, simple woman was checking out a clearly disabled older male adult whose card didn't cover the cost of his items. She was yelling at him saying these exact things "you're mumbling I can't understand a word you're saying!", "I DONT KNOW HOW MUCH IS ON THE CARD YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT!" and "I don't know what else to tell you." I felt so bad for this man he ended up just walking off and leaving all of his groceries bc she wouldn't just calm down and explain what was happening. Then when he left she continued to make fun of him with her teenage bag boy. When it was my turn to check out the bag boy thoughtfully put my grapes in the bottom of my cart and then proceeded to slam everything on top of them to the point where the bag of grapes actually popped and went everywhere. I told him he smashed the grapes and he replied "oh, you don't have to get your water out" I then clarified again and he told me that he had in fact not smashed the grapes. Keep in mind there were grapes on the floor and smashing though the grates of the cart. Finally he saw the grapes and went and got me some other ones (different brand and color all together, but what can I expect at this point?) Finally, the mean, simple cashier mumbled "Would you like to help?" I said "excuse me?" She said it again I said "what do you need help with?" She then replied "DO YOU NEED HELP OUT YOU BOUGHT ALL THIS STUFF I JUST THOUGHT YOU MIGHY WANT SOMEONE TO HELP YOU OUT!" I said no and left in a fog of sadness for the poor man, anger for the way these people behaved and fear that I will enevidebly have another kroger experience as bad, but probably worse, than this one. I may call tomorrow and just see if there's anyone there with any respect for their customers or common decency that I can talk to bc at this point I can't keep up with all the terrible behavior I see at every kroger.
I just looked at my receipt the mean cashier's...
Read moreWhen I went to load my Western Union prepaid card, I told the lady at the Customer Service desk that I was in an extreme hurry. it was like she did everything possible to make the transaction take as long as possible. Including calling for management 3 times during loading my card. First she said I couldn't load money into my husbands card without him being there. I told her I know the pin and I am a registered user on the card. NOT TO MENTION I WAS PUTTING MONEY ON THE CARD. NOT TAKING MONEY... And even then, if I have the pin, it's NONE of her business what I do with the card. She called management after arguing with me and the manager told her to load it. Then she had to call the manager again because she said they don't load western union cards and I've loaded the same card at this same location more than a dozen times with no problem. So the manager came and loaded the card. Then, when the receipt printed out, the machine spit out a foot of blank paper on the end of the receipt. I tore off the blank paper and handed it to her. She said "I can't take that, I could get audited and lose my job! You can't leave that here!" I was beyond aggravated and said "you can't throw away a BLANK piece of RECEIPT TAPE? The manager laughed at her and told her she could throw it away and she still refused. She made the transaction EXTREMELY DIFFICULT AND I MISSED MY APPOINTMENT BECAUSE OF HER TAKING SO LONG TO LOAD A CARD THAT NORMALLY TAKES 5 MINUTES...
