I have mixed feelings about Union Furniture. In store we had excellent customer service. We decided to buy our carpet from them, but I never received a call when my carpet was in. I ended up finally calling because it had been past the time frame I was given. The person on the phone said āyes, itās hereā. Iām not sure how long it had been there. Then we come to the installer. Installer was nice and he seemed to be very knowledgeable and good at what he did. The install was an average install, not great but not bad. However, he didnāt vacuum after he was done. Iāve had many carpets installed in both residential and commercial buildings. All the companies have always vacuumed before they left, but not this one. I called and let them know I wasnāt pleased and they offered to send one of their other guys out to vacuum, so they at least offered to correct it. I declined this as it should have been done from the get go not as an afterthought to please a customer. How a company leaves the job site is important to me. Itās a reflection of their own pride in their work. I had hoped Union Furniture and Flooring would have been an excellent choice as I plan on redoing the entire main level of the house in hardwood, but I think Iāll try a different flooring company for...

My father was heartbroken - he was redoing the flooring of my sisterās new house as a wedding gift and she wanted wood throughout. I am in Oklahoma (sister/father are in St. Louis) and began researching to find somewhere that had the floors and found this location was a vendor of the specific brand. I called and spoke with Danielle who tasked herself with contacting their supplier who was able to guarantee he could get the flooring on the next shipment in, but he couldnāt guarantee it would be here prior to February. Thanks to Danielle we got the flooring paid for and ordered - and it showed up in December! The house is now completely floored, and I was so grateful for the kind help and understanding provided by Danielle even though I was states away. Thanks so much Danielle! A woman quickly came to us. Sadly, this woman wasnāt helpful at all. She wanted to talk about her cats and her own furniture. She followed us around and didnāt let us browse. It was an uncomfortable experience because this woman wasnāt professional in any sort of way. We ended up leaving the store, not because of the selection, but because of this individual. We were told even in spending a large amount of money we would still pay for delivery. We ended up going to Carol House where we found such amazing and professional people who truly helped us and there if you spend $900 delivery is free. Of course we would rather spend our money close to home in our own community, but this time I think, when ready to purchase we will return to Carol House.
