Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Union

Where to begin. I understand that this is not a actual 5 star sit down restaurant, it is fast food and I am rating on a fast food scale. Arrived at drive 4:45pm at drive thru, waited till 4:55 to place order. Pulled around within 30 seconds and paid, waited till 5:13 to get my order. Got home and 3 orders of tots all dumped over in bag, 2 hamburgers partial wrapped with mayo and ketchup all inside of bag. 3rd hamburger was almost completely unwrapped with patty almost outside bun. Bottom of bag filled with mayo, ketchup and tots. Family thought i had played football with bag on the way home. The part that really upsets me is, i ordered a chicken kids meal for my 2 year old and the chicken strips were to hard for me to even bite through. This place has been declining for years and I will take my business else where and will never be back. When you pay 28.00 for a few burgers, tots and chicken strips you have an expectation of at least of it being packaged ok. All the food tasted like it was on a hot tray for hours on end. The employee gave me a couple coupons for the wait, but I pitched them with all the half eaten food. This place deserves to be shut down because it has been steadily declining in service and food quality. AVOID AT ALL COST! There are plenty of other options for fast food around Union, Mo. If you’re gonna close at around 10:30 every night change your closing time. This isn’t the first time I’ve come there and they’ve been closed early but I now have to deal with costumer support this time because I placed an online order which is very irritating. I placed an online order that probably shouldn’t have gotten through tbh because it went through at around 10:33 somehow. But I got there 20 mins before closing all the lights were off and the only employee there was sitting in her car. I pulled up to the drive thru and got no response so I pulled into a stall and clicked the button and she eventually got out and had told me the were closed and it was 10:50 at this point. She said they have no control over online orders so she couldn’t cancel otherwise I’d have to wait 40 mins for her to make the food because they turned everything off way too early. I work at a restaurant I understand closing a couple minutes early but seriously? the girl even said she didn’t see the order come in which leads me to believe they were closed by 10:30 or earlier cause that was about the time I had placed the order. The costumer support said it would take a week or more for the money to come back which is also kind of irritating. But hopefully all is fixed and I just please ask that the manager get something fixed. Was genuinely the single worst fast food experience I've ever had. I ordered the sonic double cheese burger combo and my friend ordered chicken strips, a medium drink, and mozzarella sticks.

First, my friend got the largest drink cup possible, however it was a water, not what she ordered, and her mozzarella sticks were still frozen on the inside. When I asked the waitress if I could get her drink right, she asked "do you want me to fix that for you?" With the dirtiest look Ive ever seen. Yes, please, I wasn't just showing you the drink.

Second, my burger had only 1 patty, somehow was not even close to warm, and had a metric ton of onions on it, the tots were fine, glad they didn't screw those up.

Third, when I asked for some marinara sauce and ranch, the waitress came back with 2 handfuls of ranch and marinara, more than we ever could possibly use, as if it were some sarcastic act.

I understand hating your job, everyone hates their job, but the service we received genuinely made me wonder what in the hell was happening in that kitchen.
