Update 1/19/23 Decided to go here for dinner. I order the chicken club sandwich and my husband order the special..4 pc chicken dinner. I knew when waitress set the plate in front of my husband that it wasn't going to be any good. First of all it didn't take anytime at all for it to be cooked and it looked burnt. My husband said it was very dry and tough. The fries were limpish but tasted ok. I ordered onion rings with my sandwich and they weren't very good..not very crispy like the oil wasn't hot enough when they were put in but my sandwich was ok. We will give it one more try.
Hallelujah! Don't know how long it has been but White Rose is smoke free! Had a quick bite this evening..and it was great to go in and dine without coming out smelling like smoke. Yes they had a separate section for smoking but you still had to smell it. Looking forward to more meals at this little piece of history.

We stopped in for supper. The place was packed with two servers hustling and bustling. They were dealing out delicious dishes as quickly as possible. Our server was Sapphire and she was fantastic. I gave 4 stars because the kitchen seemed to be running slow ๐ but maybe they were short staffed.
The wait was around 20 minutes but the huge servings and good grub made the wait worth it.
I had the Main Street ๐ burger. Ya know that first bite when your taste buds get rewarded with awesomeness ๐...you'll get that here. The burger was farm fresh beef. 1/2 lb of a damn fine sandwich.
Hubs had the burger horseshoe. This was a mound of burger. cheese and fries. He was throughly happy.
We were even more surprised when the bill came! The amount of food ๐ deliciousness and the price was...
ย ย ย Read moreThe food was excellent and was highly recommended by a friend we were visiting who lives in the area. She was right! Very good, classic diner food. The food also came out to us very quickly, maybe 5-8 minutes. The Biscuits and Gravy and the Open-faced Roast Beef Sandwich were great! The French Toast was a bit small and dry, but tasted great!
Our server, Trinity, provided very friendly service, and checked on us multiple times to make sure we were still satisfied. We also sat around to let our food settle, since there weren't many other customers in there, and she did not try to rush us out.
The atmosphere is great, as it seems like mostly only locals come there. We're glad our friend clued us in on this hidden gem! We'll definitely be coming back, next time we're...
