Que Pasa! Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Union

My friend and I decided to go eat here tonight to see what all the fuss was about. Well, we were both highly disappointed.

My friend's food came out first and didn't look that appetizing or appealing. I waited and waited. My server brought my friend a refill of Coke and went to check on my meal. The ticket had apparently fallen amd so it wasn't made. When it was brought out, it was unappealing as well. We both hoped for the best and started eating. The end? Neither of us wanted to take home the remainder of our food.

The server did comp both of our meals and apologized over and over. It wasn't his fault, and we still tipped him. The only other shining light was that the restaurant served Coca Cola! Don't see what the fuss was about and won't be returning. We prefer the other Mexican restaurants in town heads...

The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because their taco salad shells get soggy on the bottom. It’s common and I’m uncertain if it’s watery lettuce or what. Everything else was great as usual (we frequent here often) and I’m told the margaritas are perfect. Still recommend as their other dishes I’ve had were great. Edit: update. A couple of weeks ago I got a near perfect taco salad. Yesterday, we had a party of 4. Three of us ordered the taco salad. They came burnt and watery/greasy and barely inedible. I’m sorry to have to lower my rating but overall this place serves inconsistently cooked food. Can’t give a high recommendation so take your chances-it MIGHT be good? Really disappointing experience tonight. I placed my pickup order over the phone and the young woman was very nice. When I got there she told me my total and it was much less than what the menu listed. So I asked what the order was and it wasn’t what I told her over the phone. Not a problem, she was very kind and apologized. Re put in my order and verified it with me and then she told the kitchen staff and they made it really fast....but it was wrong. When I got home and opened it, it was still not what I ordered, plus it was cold. Seems like the cooks were upset about having to remake an order and didn’t bother looking at the ticket. Such a waste of time and money. This is why El Ranchito is the best spot in town. Only reason this gets two stars is for the customer service I received from...
