DISCRIMINATION!!!!!!! We live in Redlands. The closets store to us was in Upland. We did an online pick up for my son’s football jersey. We thought to kill time and see what other things we need for our son’s first year of football. I asked for help. The guy was friendly yes but I felt very uncomfortable afterwards. Majority of the time I saw works following us watching us from a distant like we were going to steal something? Well, just because we are mixed with black, it doesn’t mean we are there to steal. We were obviously buying things for our son. It just didn’t feel right knowing that they were watching us only because of the way we obviously look like. There were other customers there but no workers were watching them.
My husband does have tattoos. Yes he has long hair but the funny part about this all is he is very well respected at his job as an site manger. We make plenty of money. There is no need to steal. We are well off. When I asked if he saw what I saw, my husband replied, “Majority of the time at the store, that is how they act.” As if it is normal???? Well when he is around me, it isn’t normal at all. We weren’t acting shady. We asked for help with a question. When this happens, I will speak up and say something.
This review is to let your store know, don’t judge the book by it’s color. This day in age, this shouldn’t be happening at all. A customer shouldn’t have to feel uncomfortable shopping for their child’s sport gear. However they were trained obviously needs to be trained differently.
If a white man comes into the store with long hair and tattoos, what would you guys do? Follow him around watching from a distant as well? I am most definitely not ignorant. Yet, this...
Read moreWhen I bought the treadmill in the store, I was told that it was guaranteed by Christmas. They asked me to give 3 days that I can be available for delivery in case one of the days doesn't work. The days I picked were Wednesday, Friday, or Monday. On Wednesday I still hadn't heard anything so I called the number they gave me for the delivery service. They said I have a delivery scheduled for the next day, on Thursday (mind you, the one day I couldn't be available). They also weren't going to tell me they scheduled it for the next day; I only found out because I called them. I told them that wouldnt work and it wasn't one of the 3 days I picked. They told me that the 3 days aren't guaranteed. I asked, well then why ask us to pick 3 days, why not just say, "we'll show up whenever we freaking feel like it, hope you're home?". They said my window was from 9-12 on Thursday and if I couldn't be available then I wouldn't get it by Christmas. I moved stuff around and renigged on familial engagements I had previously committed to because I didn't want you to deal with more headache. I made sure I was available. I called for an ETA at 10:40 and was told the ETA was 12. By 1 pm there still wasn't a delivery. I called again. Customer service said the delivery person wasn't responding and they'd call me back. They never did. It is now 2:30 and I still have no treadmill, nor idea of when, if ever I'll get the one I paid for. I'm so livid. Not an enjoyable experience. Look elsewhere and save yourself a headache by people who don't care about you...
Read moreThis would be my first time going there and probably my last time. The sales person who helped me was very kind and patient no complaints about that. I have purchased two pairs of Hoka sneakers, one I wasn’t aware of that it was on sale which was great and the other had A bright red sale sticker on the sneaker. I went up to the register to pay, The one that had the bright red sticker rang up as a regular price. I told the person at the register that there was a sale sticker on it. He double checked with another associate and I overheard him tell the person at the register to honor the sale price. then he changed his mind and says no we can’t honor the sale because the “Hoka” company won’t allow it and being that he rang it up already he can’t change the price, LIKE WHAT?! That is the most ignorant excuse I ever heard! Im sure the “Hoka” company didn’t put the red sale sticker on it but the store itself. I asked about the sale sticker and if it’s going g to be still on the sneaker for them next person to receive the sale and he said no but it didn’t sound too convincing. I was so livid when I left I wanted to go back and tell them something and get my refund. Never again with this store. They will not see...
