DG Market — Local services in Upper Darby

Please be careful with the clerks working at this dollar general! I went there Saturday evening at around 8:30 pm and I purchased a few items like cat litter, 2 canned cat food, dish detergent, a few packs of small chips, small pack of juice and a few nick backs. The clerk a tall skinny light skin guy added everything. And I realized he overcharged me after looking at the receipt. There were items that the previous customer had purchased. I do not know how those got on my receipt! When I signaled to him, he was getting upset! When I insisted that I had to have a refund he call his manager or whoever to help him sort it out. And all he refunded me was 8 $ instead of 30! And he was not able to sort it out. I got upset and called the police and all I wanted was a full refund and I didn’t want anything anymore!!!! Customer service is disappointing. A coupon that clearly followed the requirements wasn't working and was confirmed on many forums, threads, and articles that it will work. There was a glitch with the coupon and the item on the system. It would be great if the customer service took only a minute to read the requirements to confirm the coupon but instead, they were very disrespectful and said they wouldn't allow me to check out even with the other coupons that do work.

Multiple workers understood this issue and tried to explain the situation but she refused to accept it. I'm not sure how she got the position she's in but her position needs to reevaluated and maybe she even needs anger management courses.

Never going to this store. Please take corrective action on the female manager corporate or more and more people will stop going here.

Incident happened...

It's a new store. They moved from 1 side of the lot 2 the other side. The old DG was 2 small. They couldn't stock up the shelves cause it was way 2many items not enough space. But there new place is Hugh. Self checkout. Nice employees when u c them. Lol lol. I'm happy 4 the female mngr here. She always tryed her hardest to keep up w the old store items. She was short staffed. She was doing 3 ppls jobs at the old store. I know she's grateful 4 the new place. She always listens 2 religious music while working. She never complains either.
