E5 Saved the day for my son's 10th birthday. What a great experience for my son's 10th birthday!
When I first spoke with Terrence to schedule a gaming truck to come to our home, I was met with a most pleasant conversation and a family man who spoke so highly of his family and a deep appreciation for his wife. He made scheduling easy as he looked up our property while we were on the phone to make sure we would have adequate space for the truck to back in safely. I paid a deposit for the day and we were set.
Once that was scheduled, the excitement continued to build for my dear sweet boy. I truly wish I couldâve bottled up his excitement in the anticipation of his birthday, it was palpable.
The week of, I had the pleasure of speaking with Tame, to finalize details for the big day. Again, such a pleasant person and another wonderful conversation. Through this conversation, I learned Tame was Terrenceâs wife. That was such a beautiful full circle moment. Tame was able to provide me with additional information about add-onâs that my son was asking about- Fortnite, Roblox etc. My sonâs father and I were going to discuss this that evening and Tame told me that I could give them a call up to the morning of if that was something we wanted to add on. Tame gave me a schedule of the call I would receive from the driver the day of and approximately what time they would be there. I was so appreciative of the excellent communication.
The day of, I came down with a stomach virus that took me out of commission. I was devastated but it wasnât about me at all. When I passed the baton to my sonâs dad, he was able to speak with Percy, the driver. Percy had called to give an exact time that he would arrive. I felt like I could take a deep breath. As a mom, there were so many little special final details that I wanted to accomplish but could not. It was what it was. It turned to be a spectacular event. From my room, I could hear the kiddos arrive. When the truck pulled into the driveway and Percy and the other gentleman were setting up the trailer, I could hear the kiddos cheering and my sonâs audible âwoahâ. I am so grateful to have had this experience for my sonâs 10th birthday. He said it was a blast! I truly feel that if we didnât have this experience set up, we would have had to rescheduled my sonâs birthday.

   Read moreOn August 26, 2023, I booked E5 Mobile Entertainment for my sonâs birthday party. I booked months in advance and followed up on the details several times prior to the event. I reserved a gaming truck for 20 kids and 1 adult, along with a nerf gun battle and an ice cream truck, which was all confirmed in a written contract. The event was 2 hours for a total of almost $1,100. Overall, the event was nice however I did have concerns that I shared with the owner, Terrance. I had 3 concerns that I shared⌠First, the bus that I paid for was smaller than the one I reserved (only sat 12-14 kids). I reserved the larger bus that sat 20 kids. The owner confirmed that they in fact had a larger bus, but it was âall the sameâ. Second, the package I paid for also included a birthday shirt which I never received. I typically order my son a special shirt for his birthday party but this year I did not. The response I got was âIâll send you a shirtâ and âit was really just a gift anywayâ. Third, I had two event coordinators for the event and they both played video games the majority of the time, which I would not have cared however other kids had to wait to play. I have photos where you can see the facilitators playing while two kids sat next them watching. Note, the 2 guys assisting were very nice and I did tip them at the end. My dissatisfaction is more towards the lack of customer service and how the owner responded to my concerns. He was very dismissive and condescending. I never received an apology (his exact response âwhat am I apologizing for?) or a credit for the price differential for the smaller gaming truck. I donât typically provide negative feedback on a social platform however when you are paying $1,100 for an event, I do expect a certain level of professionalism and customer service.    Read moreI am extremely disappointed with the game truck service we received for my sonâs 10th birthday party on 8/3/24. They sent a truck with no functioning air conditioning on a scorching 93-degree day. The kids were miserable, and I had to refuse the service, leaving us with no games for the party. When I called the company, they had the nerve to ask if they should send a truck for the next day.
To make matters worse, when I called the office to request an invoice for a refund, the woman I spoke to had an attitude and showed no remorse for ruining my sonâs birthday. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. I would not recommend this service to anyone. Save yourself the headache and look for a more reliable company that actually cares about their customers.
Response to your Response You did offer to send another truck at 7:30/8 pm that same day, but our party started at 3 pm. It was unreasonable to expect our guests to wait around for five hours. Which is why I opted for a refund. Additionally, why was a truck with no AC sent in the first place?
Regarding my refund, it was not processed immediately and only occurred the following Monday after I called to initiate it (which didnât even show up in my account till today 11days later).
