My husband and I haven't been to Capital Grille or dined indoors since COVID and decided for our 10 year wedding anniversary Capital Grille would be the best place to do it since we've always had exemplary service there. At the start of our meal, our waitress asked if we were celebrating anything and we told her about our 10 year wedding anniversary. The meal was unbelievable. The crab legs were so fresh, you didn't even need to dip it in butter. Our waitress was attentive and the meal was smooth. We even sat in a back corner room and had privacy which was special. However, we were quite surprised when we didn't get a signed card and/or dessert plate saying Happy Anniversary like had always done in the past. We assumed it was something they may have stopped doing because of COVID but then when going to the bathroom we saw another table have a Happy Anniversary plate. After paying our bill and tipping generously we asked to speak to the manager. We spoke to Virginia Rodriguez who apologized for the misstep in their service. She offered to send us off with a free dessert but we just wanted to simply share the feedback for future patrons. To my surprise a few days later I had a voicemail message from Virginia. She said she kept thinking all weekend about what happened with our meal and wanted to make it right by sending us something. I gave her my address and she mailed us a set of Capital Grille steak knives in a beautiful box with velvet inside. This blew me away. This is truly amazing customer service and going above and beyond. We would have returned to Capital Grille again in the future but this has now caused me to do a review, share my praises, and every time people use these knives I'll be able to tell them about the Wonderful Virginia Rodriguez at the Capital Grille in King of Prussia. Thank...
Read moreWent with family of 3 for special occasion dinner. Was excited because I have heard good things about the capital chain. We were seated in a small room on the side of the main room which I liked because it gave us a little more privacy. I will focus on my meal. I ordered the lobster crab cake appetizer which was delicious. For my entree I ordered a 10oz. Fillet steak and I stressed to the waiter slightly pink inside (medium well). He assured me it would be grilled to perfection. I also ordered a side of mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. When the entree arrived I cut into the steak to find it was medium rare.(Bloody). I showed the waiter and he apologized and took it back to grill longer. Meanwhile I asked the family to start while the food was hot. The waiter returned the filet and I cut into it again and still bloody inside. I asked for the manager who apologized again and took it back and returned it with the filet sliced into four pieces so the chef could cook it properly. REALLY? Wound up with filet medallions. I did not want to upset the family and I just ate the filet at this point. It was disappointing that the chef at a fine dinning restaurant could not deliver a medium well steak. The sides asparagus were very good but the mashed potatoes were watery. The manager apologized for the filet but did not offer a replacement or alternative(Disappointing ).The service throughout the meal was good. Final bill and tip approximately $400. Would...
Read moreWe came here to celebrate our babie daughter’s birthday tonight! Still can’t believe how fast time has flown by! She was looking forward to blowing out the candles all day today. We’ve dined at The Capital Grille many times before, but the service today at this particular The Capital Grille (King of Prussia) was extra amazing! Our server, Frank Cipriotti, was very attentive, friendly and was overall really good! Our daughter got a special birthday greeting card sitting at the center of the table before we were seated. Frank surprised us with a family photo printout, some glasses of champagnes to toast, and also a Chef prepared birthday treat with candle for the special occasion near the end of the dinner. And upon exiting, we wanted to take a family photo before leaving and the host upfront, Sarah, helped us take the photo, and came out with a handful of stuffed animals with Capital Grill’s branded ribbon on it for each of our kiddies. That was a special touch. There is just 1 caveat that we have is with the water temperature in both the male & female restrooms. The water was extremely hot to a point that it may burn people’s hands. It was very hot to the point we are having a hard time washing our kids’ hands. Hopefully someone can fix that before someone gets hurt by the extreme hot temperature of the water. Other than that, All-in-all, it was one of the more memorable experience for all of us. Thank you very much, Frank...
