I've been struggling for a few days now, with how to write about my experience at Jimmy John's Field. There are so many ways and words I could use to describe it, but none of them seem fitting enough. So I guess let me dive right in.
I want to compliment the entire staff, from guest services and ushers to the concessions and dance team and everyone in between. Our experiences with them have all been terrific and top notch, another great perk is they don't make you dig your ticket out of your pocket every time you are returning to your seat. I just can't speak enough good things about all of these hard working members who clearly work very well as Jimmy John's Field and the USPBL's 5th team.
The prices are so reasonable that I actually feel compelled to let my son get the dippin dots or the souvenir he is eyeing at the game we are attending. If we were to go to the "other game in town," there's no way we could afford tickets, parking, concessions, souvenirs, etc. Oh not to mention the free kids play structure and wiffle ball field, that sure beats paying for ferris wheel and carousel rides.
Lastly, I'd like to compliment the owner. Opening Day we see him out there helping at the ticket area, helping wherever it is needed and he never let's you know he's the owner. The thing that really impressed me was so far after the 2 games we attended, Andy is right there shaking hands with everyone as they leave at a main exit not up by the VIP area. I truly feel by his actions alone we are all one family and in this together
Update
We've gone to several games since I originally wrote this review. Every single experience keeps getting better and better. I highly suggest everyone to go see the...

If you haven’t been to Jimmy John’s Field in Utica, Michigan, then you’re sleepin’ on one of Metro Detroit’s best-kept secrets. This place isn’t just a ballpark—it’s a full-blown vibe.
First off, the field is immaculate. We’re talkin’ Major League looks with backyard charm. The turf is so pristine it’ll make your lawn jealous. Every seat in the house is a good one—even the cheap seats feel like box seats here.
The USPBL games? Electric. These guys play like they're one phone call away from The Show, and they bring that fire every single night. You get pro-level intensity without the big-league ego (or price tag). And the fans? Salt-of-the-earth, local, loyal, and just rowdy enough to keep things interesting.
Let’s talk about the family factor. This park is built for everybody—kids running the bases, fireworks lighting up the night, bounce houses, lawn games, and even those funky between-inning contests that make you laugh even if you pretend not to. And if you’re like me and like to vibe in the outfield with a cold drink, they got that too—craft beer garden, laid-back picnic tables, and a front-row view of the sunset.
Oh—and don’t sleep on the food. Loaded tots, gourmet hot dogs, brisket nachos, local brews... it’s not stadium food, it’s ballpark cuisine. You’ll leave with your soul fed and your belly full.
This place is like that perfect playlist—hits all the right notes, brings back good memories, and leaves you wanting an encore. Whether you're 7 or 70, it’s impossible not to have a good time here.
Jimmy John’s Field isn’t just a field. It’s home. It’s...
Read moreWhat a beautiful facility....Too Bad the execution of our group party was so Poor and Cheap. $40 per person got you Hotdogs that literally weren't cooked. A Sausage and pepper tray that was burnt and included sausages that were sliced so thin it was funny. A chicken or pulled pork dish that you wouldn't try because it was cold and covered with flies (Didn't see anyone checking temperature as required by Macomb county health department) Coleslaw and pasta salad again just set out and covered in flies without any refrigeration to keep food safe at proper temperature. Plates and plastic wear are just set out still in plastic wrapping as if nobody cared enough to pretend to try to make it nice. $40 x 20 people for what would be described as the cheapest possible way to have a buffet. As far as the patio with the nice umbrellas and tables...Nope...picnic tables out in left field so far away from the game you couldn't follow it if you wanted too. Our tickets included 2 alcohol beverages but choice was 12oz draft beer or 6 oz wine. Distance from our seating area to the bar was a good 50 yards and a couple hundred yards if you...
